It`s no wonder the media is downplaying it, they don`t want this to escalate after all. We all know the recent history of the French people. When you have hundreds of thousands of protestors, serious things can happen if they decide to take real action. You had the storming of the Bastille, now we need to storm the EU headquarters/Mordor.

I saw on drudge that there was damage to the Arc de triomphe, which is in the main tourist area. So it's every where
The French have a long history of protests and stuff like this, especially on the left bank, so this is hardly the most violent protest in France ever. Still probably the biggest since the 60s not counting the towel head terrorism.

The French country people are not to be underestimated. Many are fiercely Nationalist and traditional still. My paternal grandfather was from a tiny village called Tranzault in the Indre region, (Smack in the middle of France) and I`ve visited my family there many times. It`s like stepping in to a different era still. Maybe France is the Nation that will start the Globalist uprising. It`s not that surprising really, the people who suffer the most will also have the greatest motivation. History rhymes!
