This was exactly inspired by one of the posters on this board and I thought I expand on my reply to him. I'll keep it punchy and get to the main points.
When we all got into hustling (pickup, dating, or whatever term you like to use) it was pretty much recommended by all the top guys to game at lease Thursday to Saturday. Sometimes every day which helped newer guys speed up their success. Obviously, this is great for young guys without any responsibility. This is good for the short term but in the long term, this will destroy your love of the hustle.
You start to feel guilty for not going out. You start to not get that flare you use to have when you were spitting game. If anything, it starts to get boring and bland for you even with good results. The reason this happens because you started treating the hustle like a job. It stopped being fun and it started being work. It became a tool to prove something. Usually, that something is your sexual prowess and/or skill either to others or yourself.
You have nothing to prove. And if you keep going down this road, you're just going to destroy yourself. You're trying to do the impossible and that's to satisfy your ego. You've become the champ now just enjoy it while you can. Like I said before, retire from the game, don't let game retire you. If you're in this cycle, the game is going to retire you.
Your life isn't supposed to revolve around pussy. It should revolve around whatever your purpose is. Do what you want. Do what's going to benefit you right now. So many guys knee deep in this game have ultimately made women their god because they're having their ego and others dictate their life. Everything they do is to get more women. Picking up girls is fine but you should be just as okay or better walking away from it all.
When you're in the mood to go out and get a new girl, do it. When you're not, then don't. It's that simple. When you're going on your next date or going out, ask yourself "am I really doing this for me or something/someone else?" You'll be surprised by the realization you come to. This isn't an anti-game post, if anything, it's a pro-game post. This will help you balance your life and keep you passionate about meeting women.
When you enjoy life outside of women, ironically, you'll actually enjoy the presence of women.
