Have any of you ever used a vision board and if so, did you get any results with it??
With vision board I mean a visual representation/collage of a goal/dream you have and would like to achieve, which can be anything from setting up your own business, making lots of money, chixs, becoming very good at your hobby/sport etc
I'm in the process of creating a vision board that will (hopefully) enable me to find a job in a more interesting location than where I'm currently at

That's a bit too abstract for me. I just keep a list.
I used to have a lot more artsy stuff on my walls, but they weren't working for me as a source of inspiration. I think the reason for this is that they didn't give me the sense of reflecting a work in progress. I'm not one to load myself up with too many trinkets and trophies.
What I do have, instead, is a whiteboard, it gives me more flexibility in what I throw up on the walls.

I put together a vision board for the background on my desktop. In the middle of the collage, I sometimes have my current goal. right now it just has my recent favorite quote: "Man is made or unmade by himself."
Beyond All Seas
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

you should be so obsessed by your goals that you don't need a vision board

Here's a list of people I know that use Vision boards
1) Divorced woman living off alimony and child support while working as a receptionist yet living in a $300k house. Her vision board contains her career goals, which have not progressed in 7 years
2) Divorced old lady who is bankrupt on paper that refuses to sell rental property and primary residence that are beyond her means. Her vision board contains her goals for her business and 2nd vacation home, neither have progressed in 10 years
3) Young multi degreed 20 something with medical depression living on her parents dime. Her vision board is about her state of mind and happiness, neither has progressed in 5 years.
I have no vision board, i have a list and spreadsheets of goals and financial projections. I became profitably self employed and world travelled in 8 months. Take your pick.

I'm none of those 3 categories - what's your point??
read the question I asked in my original post
if you're so successful wouldn't you have better things to do with your time than repond to a thread about "losers that use vision boards"

There's nothing wrong with them. It's all tied to quantum theory. The worst thing you can do is have negative thoughts like you can't obtain that stuff.

Did it in my mid 20's..
Girl I knew remarked a year later, "Its funny, everything you had in those montages has come true for you in the last few months."
(Thinking: "It ain't funny bitch/ Its quantum shit.") "Oh yes.. yes.. No Tabitha, it is funny isn't it?"
They =can= work - (standard qualifications.. need for actual hard work, burning desire, etc. etc. apply but don't need to remind anyone here of that.)
