I realise that most serious PUAs are 30+ to 40+ so naturally there will be many who are either completely bald or semi bald, but off the top of my head(no pun intended) it seems like about 60-70% are mostly hairless

Excluding the proprietor of the forum of course who has a fine head of hair.

My first guess would be the "pua" profession/lifestyle self selects for high T men -> because puas must have a higher sex drive than average to draw them to the field and high sex drive is correlated to high testosterone and high testosterone is correlated to high DHT (test metabolite) that is partially responsible for baldness.

Then the other caveat is if they were high T men with exceptional genes (IE not balding at 20-30) they probably wouldn't be PUAs, they would just be "naturals" that probably would pick another field as they would just be slaying pussy anf giving it very little other thought, especially not enough to persue an identity of "PUA".

It seems that the PUA field self selects for baldness. Mystery solved everyone can go home.

I read somewhere that baldness is actually just higher sensitivity to testosterone not higher testosterone. That's why bald guys always have great beard genetics. People who never bald are the only ones who might have a patchy/thin beard. This could be complete bs but it sounded interesting.

Looks play a component on game but at the end of the day it is all about confidence, and being comfortable in your own shoes.

I don't think Testosterone has much to do with it. The reasons are pretty simple.

Age and balding are perceived as handicaps when it comes to attracting women. Especially by people "afflicted" with those conditions.

1. As you get into your 30s and 40s and you're not loaded, you're more likely to need game to get hot women below your age range.
2. As you lose your hair, you're going to feel like you need game to attract women, whether or not women themselves mind it as much.

It naturally follows that if 1 and 2 apply to you at the same time, you're even more likely to look up gaming and try to get good at it if you want an active, quality dating life.

This thread should be neither in the main nor in the newbie section. Your post is just nonsense noise. Also, you're assuming what you are trying to prove, which is a logical fallacy, named petitio principii, a.k.a. circular reasoning, a.k.a. begging the question. Educate yourself a bit first.

First problem is, your comparative sample suffers from a monstrous availability bias, hence is unrepresentative of a properly sampled population. It's a non-starter.

At most, your question should have been: "Is there a correlation between baldness and a high sex drive?).

I can see you starting a new thread "Why are most PUAs wearing leather belts?" which will contribute nothing to the problems the community here is trying to solve.

By the way, I can re-assure you that Tom Torrero isn't half bald or even quarter-bald (at least judging from what he looked like as of Monday, that is yesterday. Maybe you saw him today and he lost half his hair in the space of one night but I doubt it).

You're asking the question the wrong way around. It should be "Why do bald (unattractive, charmless, socially awkward) men become PUAs?" Are Chads balder than average too? Do they have lower testosterone levels than PUAs?

I suspect that there's a degree of confirmation bias to any 'observation' like this.
Society is conditioned by marketing and the people who brought you Fake News to associate baldness or thinning hair with being unattractive, so when bald men are seen dating attractive women it probably registers more with people's minds than would if he had a head of hair.

I tought my days were gone when I started balding at the age of 24, 3 years ago.
It took some time to come to terms with it. But after I did my notch count has doubled. I wear a dark blue cap when I go out, and sometimes a fedora hat.
