Moma, it's better to pull at a spot like Tipico, then take the girl with you to New Cafe, it's considered the after-hours spot.

AP is tough ground because most of the people you encounter are people who know each other from school, being neighbors, etc. Social circle game is huge over there. The chicks are broke, so to get fucked up they need dudes to invite them out. Ultimately, as a result, you gotta understand, Latin women won't be disrespectful towards dudes who invite them out by engaging other men, even if its men who they aren't giving any ass to. The ones who have the freedom to do so will often give you a dance and then head back to their group.

Can it be frustrating? Yes. Can you play past it? Yes, by looking for the non-Dominican girls.

Even though I'm Dominican, I'm still an outsider in AP, because I don't live over there, and with the way I look, I don't look like I live over there.

I pull well at spots like Tipico because it's one of the few places in the hood that people from outside of the hood go to because of it's notoriety.

However, lately Tipico is D'd up on Sundays because Bully isn't open -- I was there tonight --and packed clubs are shitty for a dude on the prowl, it's hard to evaluate, and it's easy to get missed by others because of the traffic.

In general, you would say that Sundays or Fridays are the best days for Tipico? My Spanish sucks and my bachata is paltry at best. But I love the vibes

Definitely Sundays.

Friday is Karaoke night there, at least it was for it while, but Fridays and Saturdays are mediocre at Tipico. They recently started running ads for Saturday to pick up the traffic. El Zol has done a live broadcast there on Sundays for at least the past 5 years, so that is why it is popular on that particular night.

Friday is the best night to pull at New Cafe, more intimate crowd, Saturday, hit Bully, $20 open bar, Sunday Tipico, but roll deep. Get a table and a bucket of Presidente. I'm usually dolo or with a wingwoman, but that works best for their more intimate nights, like when Bully is open on Sunday because of a concert.

Don't worry about your spanish. Most of the Dominicanas you run into over there are first generation Americans, so they speak Spanish, but their English is more than fine. I've spoken to girls in Dominican down Spanish, and when I address them English, they respond with unaccented English.

Learn the basics on bachata and merengue, and you're good. If you can get past that, you're great. I like to make history when I dance, but that music is my birthright, so it comes naturally for me.

AP is short for Allapattah, which is the Dominican part of Miami, close to Jackson Hospital.

Moma:
You definitely don't want to go to Tipico on a Friday. I went there on a Friday not too long ago and the place was completely empty. As Jariel said, Sunday is the best night there. Saturday is decent, but not as good as Sunday. The guys from El Zol were there the last time I was there on a Sunday. El Zol also puts on the event in Coral Gables which I mentioned earlier in this thread.
