Leaving The West: 3 Questions (Business and Pleasure)

The main question here (where to go?) has been duped too many times, but I'm starting a new thread as overall it's probably not been asked like this.

I have left my home country every year for extended periods for the past four years. Each time I've been looking for some way out of the situation in The West. Last year I wasn't planning on going back, but was cut short by shit-hole induced illness.

At first I was escaping my government, then the new culture that is growing in the corridors of power and being imported; and finally the women.

1) I'm a late comer to the women game. With not many options presenting themselves to me I was naturally configured to be a beta provider. But now I am finding my feet I am tempted to take a year out or more and head to Colo, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Uganda, Indonesia... and work on the parts of myself I have neglected in favour of work. On the other side, I have started to push into the 30s and thus my options are slowly disappearing behind me. I have had on my mind eventually settling with a girl as close to 18 as possible. The options for that in EE are dying up by the year, though on the other hand it's still a play in somewhere like Brazil, Colombia for several more years. Also the other factor is I am mainly driven by the desire to become solidly financially independent and doing this knocks that back. On the one hand I can push back the finance, which I should be able to do later (assuming no change in the market) and I can do this now (which I won't be able to do later). Or I can just focus on finding someone and push forward with finances and forget about a world tour.

What would your choice be?

2) With my work I have two remote employees who have been doing the same job for a few years, but I barely have any time to deal with their output. I spend a lot of my time doing relatively simple tasks that come at me unexpectedly as I progress through my more complicated work. This year half of my time has been spent doing these small secretarial jobs, but it's not something I can outsource. I need someone with me I can shift these small jobs to in between them doing other jobs. I also need to hire a programmer. Right now I'm shooting way below potential as I don't have the legit setup I need. I noticed a few guys on the board have setups in Ukraine (in particular).

What would you recommend?

3) My main goal is to find a girl in a developing country to settle down with and setup an office there (as briefly outlined above). I'm not bothered about living in flashy cities with great infrastructure. I am used to not living there. My requirements are they have cheap wages - where you can get people who speak good English (even if it's not common) for $500-700 per month. And somewhere that's not a violent, degenerate shit-hole like Guatemala City.

In Europe this gives you: Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Armenia and Georgia (plus a few others).

There are also options in South America with obvious appeal (curves) but obvious issues (the culture, crime), but I'm sure there are decent areas.

From what I've read on Asia on the board, it should be written off.

The only language I can speak beyond English is rudimentary Serbian. Armenia is tempting since I am (((among other things))) Armenian and got on well with them in Mother Russia. Will head there shortly.

Which country and why?

Why do you think that Asia should be written off? On the whole it's not very dangerous and you've got major cities that are actually very developed and modern yet still cheap and raw. I'd recommend the Philippines (specifically Manila). It is a hotspot for young women who don't mind an age gap and a hotspot for cheap English speaking workers. For $500-700 you could get somebody reasonably skilled and experienced and fluent English speaking, the going rate for an unskilled yet fluent English speaking professional is even lower ($300-$400).

There is a thread on here that is quite long that has a lot of data about how the natives in Asia are liable to fuck you over and operate with in-group preference.

I have noted that Thailand may have some of the best value apartments in terms of interiors plus in-building pools and gyms, but it doesn't tempt me as much as EE.

Georgia is ideal for an administrative/back office due to its low wages and simple, efficient bureacracy, but the engineering talent pool is very shallow. You could import an engineer from Belarus or Russia if required - visas are not needed, not even for work. English isn't widely spoken, but you'll find a sizeable number of American culture slaves who speak it very well. Cost of living is very low.

Regarding your other thread about the career girl: be careful not to conflate outward femininity (i.e. feminine appearance) with traditionalism. Russian femininity is mostly skin deep, so if your goal is a traditional marriage, be very careful. They're rarely traditional or submissive thanks to four generations of Soviet indoctrination. For example, the wife typically controls the family's finances (I think that started in the '90s), and you can forget about setting any rules around how she raises her kid - in her mind it's her kid, and the father has no business raising it... In any case, you'll always be outvoted two-to-one as the babushka usually acts as a third parent; her opinion will overrule everyone else's, including doctors'.

If you're looking for traditional and submissive, you're better off with Armenians or Georgians.. or Ossetians. Lots of virgin brides outside of Tbilisi - they take it very seriously.

Georgia is also ideal as far as taxation is concerned. THey've recently adopted the Estonian model - tax is levied only on distributed profits, so any profits reinvested in the company remain untaxed until distributed.

And personal taxation is territorial.

The problem with Georgia and Armenia for me is that the women are not very attractive at all, I like the nature in both countries but apart from that there is nothing that draws me to either country.

Serbia is a good choice seeing as you speak a bit of the lingo, otherwise Ukraine is another good option, somewhere like Kharkov in the East where it's dirt cheap and you can hire some talented locals for beans.

From the European countries you listed I think only Russia, Serbia and Ukraine are solid options

Post some job ads for what you want in different places and see what has the best options. No matter where you go having an actual office will not be difficult, it's getting the right employees for what you need that work out well for you. There are too many factors such as language barrier, visas, etc that you won't really know until you go through the motions of hiring some people.

Solid options from what perspective? He's looking for a wife and to run some kind of international business. Russia and the Ukraine are not good places to go wife hunting, especially for those lacking experience in that culture. You're right that the average in Georgia/Armenia is quite low, but as he's looking for a wife, that will be less of a concern. When compared without clothes makeup they're actually not that bad, and they tend to age quite well.. Their fashion and makeup skills do leave a lot to be desired, however.

As far as business is concerned, the Ukraine is unstable, both are bureacratic, and Russia is a sanctions risk. Russia's anti-offshoring legislation and reporting requirements are becoming quite well developed, which are making things more difficult each year.

I have no idea about Serbia.
