For cold climate folks that suddenly get summer weather (ie. Midwestern USA)

For those of you that live in cold climates. In my case it's the American Midwest but in a suburban area very close to urban areas (Detroit area) & I grew up near Chicago which I visit frequently as well. We all know Chicago has some pretty bad-ass nightlife, but I digress.
For folks in these types of cities, we have had to suffer through a long, nasty winter. All of a sudden summertime has hit and the entire vibe of these places change virtually overnight. Does it instill in you a sudden urgency to get shit done quicker. Like to get cash in your pocket quicker & also be able to get out & about in the nightlife areas more urgently on the weekends? Wondering what your opinions are of this. I've sorta felt this way to some extent since my mid-20's.
