After left-swiping a sea of tranvestites on a trip to Thailand, I got the following idea. I think the potential for trolling is strong, but don't have time to do it myself right now.

Given that Germany has recently implemented a third gender on their census forms, why doesn't tinder expand its – frankly transphobic – horizons by allowing, no insisting, that people to identify according to their congenital gender identity?

This could be awesome, because the end result is that tranvestites get screened out (revealing their true sexual market value), but it can be couched in language that ostensibly supports their cause.

It would have to be written with the slightest hint of sarcasm, but not enough to give it away. Any takers? Pity Tuth isn't around, he'd do a great job with this...

The better idea would be to jail plastic surgeons who do "sex mutilation surgery".

Third gender? Dude, there are 1,387 genders. Get with the times.

Tinder used to only have categories for "male" and "female," but some time ago they decided to allow trans people to identify as "transgender" and appear in search results alongside their natural-born counterparts.

So if you're a straight man, you get to be presented with trannies in the mix, and there ain't no way to filter them out. Because as we all know, what matters is what's inside your heart, not between your legs (or your hopelessly cross-wired brain).

Since dudes are certainly the only ones paying for tinder, they should definitely have the luxury of choosing whether their prospects have dicks. This can also be framed as pro-consumer.

I think its a great idea. I would be easier to filter out what you dont want instead of worried about "traps".

I’ve gone beyond actively trying not to learn their terms, I have my own terms now.

I just call them ‘genders’ or ‘those gender people’.

It’s dismissive, and shows them for the opinionated pedants that they are.

Transvestite really pisses them off, because that's what they are. Without the op, they're not transgender, and it's questionable even post-op. I think we should be using transvestite to describe them.
