Penis Friction Burns & Nerve Damage

Replied to a thread on this in the Newbie section, but figured it's more of a health issue and wanted to post here.

I had really rough marathon sex session fueled by way too much booze and a little Cialis. The next morning I woke up with a "Strawberry" type injury the size of a nickel on my cock.

The cut and the open wound healed over the course of 2-3 weeks. But I tried not to fuck for nearly a month straight.

This was at the end of November, but something still wasn't right.

So I decided to go into monk mode due to work and the shitty cold weather. Figured it would heal itself over the course of a month. Plus, I've been dealing with another health issue - so it was kind of like a daily double.

The skin healed, but there's a burning sensation, almost like nerve damage. The skin just isn't like regular penis skin. It's not tough or soft.

So I went to a dermatologist in January. She looked at the spot, which isn't really visible these days and listened to my symptoms. Then she gave me a steroid cream.

I used the steroid cream for 15 straight days and my symptoms got worse. The burning sensation increased and it seemed my penis skin got thinner and thinner around the area.

I've currently stopped using the cream, but I'm at a loss as what to do next.

I'm considering a few different over the counter creams but also thinking I need to see a true medical expert and get my dick fixed properly.

The issue is I don't know where to find an expert penis doctor that would know what to do in such a situation.

If anyone knows what type of doctor to go to, has a penis doctor recommendation, or knows of the healing cream that could do the job...

I'm all ears! PMs open, too - if you don't want to share here.

Lastly, it's not an STD. I've been tested recently.

Best to see a urologist. Steroid creams promotes dermal density loss with prolonged use, they`re sometimes used for that purpose. It should repair itself though. As long as your dick is not bent, or you fell cartilage like tissue where the wound was (Peyronie`s syndrome), it can`t be that bad.

We will stomp to the top with the wind in our teeth.

I was under that impression, too. However, a skin wound not fully healing after nearly three months isn't normal. The burning sensation seems like a nerve issue.

Appreciate the tip about the urologist. Wasn't sure if that's how I should proceed up the medical ladder or not.

Sounds like nothing serious to me.

The steroid cream was really bad advice. Corticosteroids are major immunosuppressant drugs and topical steroids are no exceptions. (with long term use) I`ll bet that`s the reason it takes so long to heal. A good idea to check with a urologist just to be sure though.

I've had circular wounds on my dick from the same reason (marathon sex) but mine healed 100% in about 2 weeks. I didn't jelq or use my bathmate during that time to promote healing. So make sure your not fucking with your dick and like the previous poster said, see a urologist.

Please don't like my posts or rep me. I do not wish to be judged by how many rep points and/or likes I have.

Try taking vitamin e pills, especially popping the capsule with a needle, and then applying the oil on the wound

20 years or so ago (as a young teenager) I was whacking off furiously to a porn mag with a ring on my finger and some of my cock skin creeped up between my finger and the ring. I damn near ripped half my dick off and it swelled up really badly, I was too embarrassed to seek medical attention but thankfully the swelling went down soon after but I had a nasty scab on my pecker for awhile.

I know that this has nothing to do with your question but dick injuries suck, I hope you get well soon bro.

I will share what happened with me since it was a similar case!

I met a girl and had a sex marathon (RAW) with her for 10 days straight, then when we stopped seeing each other, I started masturbating like a lunatic.

After masturbating my penis skin was burning like crazy!!! I went to a dermatologist and he also gave me steroid cream.. It would ease the pain a bit then it would start burning again. After two weeks there was no progress at all, he even told me it's not an STD.

I went to a urologist and another dermatologist, and they all just told me to use steroid creams. I didn't as it was retarded, so I just gave up and learned to live with the pain.

After a year of trying everything like vitamin e oil, honey, coconut oil, warm water sessions, etc... I decided to go to a doctor again. He was useless, then another doctor that recommended I see another urologist. I went to the best urologist in the city, I did every STD test, ultrasound, everything and he told me "It's nothing, it must be in your head, it's nothing serious" lol

I went back to my doctor, he told me it must be nerve damage and that I wont find a neurologist that will come close to the nerves in that area because if I ever develop ED I could sue the neurologist for millions.

ANYWAYS!

My only solution was to try my best to heal my nerves naturally. I quit smoking, went to the gym, took multivitamins, vitamin B complex 50 and just stopped masturbation and sex for 6 months.

Now I'm 100% free of any pain, except every month or so I would feel a little pain if I masturbated without lube or so.

Sorry OP but if it's nerve damage it can take up to 2 years to fully heal. GL

Look into Candida. Your sex-marathon partner might have had candidiasis and transferred some sort of candida/fungal infection to you, which, steroid creams can actually inflame and make worse. I know from experience, and rotating anti-fungals and eating a clean ant-candida diet (basically paleo) might work for you.

Doctors know very little about yeast imbalances and candida, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't research it. I've read some horror stories online about guys who've had itchy scrotums or rashes on their junk for months, even years, and had doctors prescribe/diagnosis all different types of crap. It wasn't until they started using probiotics and anti-fungals (internally, and even externally) that they began to feel better.

Good luck and update us on your penile progress.

That's what I'm scared of! Thanks for the insight.

I plan to see a urologist next week. Hoping to know more then. If it's nerve damage, then I guess just wait it out and focus on being as healthy as possible.

Very interesting, and something I haven't considered.

From your experience, is there a test a doctor can run to determine candida presence?

I take probiotics and potato starch daily, but I will look into antifungals.

Damn.

This thread needs to be required reading for all the vigorous fuckers on here.

I scraped my dick up pretty bad once as a result of a marathon session, but I was good to go (gently) a few hours later with some coconut oil.

Took about a week or so to heal, though.

I'm also surprised at all the masturbation injuries, I can only guess, but I'd wager I masturbate as vigorously as any one of you wankers and I've never injured myself.

I must have pretty tough dick nerves.

Good luck, man, this sounds horrible...actually, I'm kind of scared to masturbate now...it's kind of like after the first time you read an article about vagina dentata and can't help but hesitate for a split second the next time you're about to fuck a girl.

Same thing happened to me about 17 years ago. An inexperienced girl kept her ring on and I got a nasty cut on the tip of my dick. My boxers were soaked in blood. I was scared as hell but too embarrassed to go and see a doc. Like in your case, it healed pretty quickly though.

Do that, but what will help speed up the healing process tremendously is high dosage of vitamin C. Take some 15.000 mg per day of pure l-ascorbic acid (no aspartame bullshit). Either take the pure powder or some good producers like Swanson or Now Foods - most companies offer shit products.

Add to it a good multi at least for the duration like from Swanson.

If you have fungus, then it has to be dealt differently, but chances are that it is just a friction wound. Vitamin C aids the healing process tremendously. Spread out the dose during the entire day - don't take it in one or 2 doses, but at 2000mg per 2 hours for example.

OP I had a very similar story last year that started after several nights in a row of rough sex. I too went to several doctors including a dermatologist and was told it was nothing. STD checks were all negative. Like you the primary symptom I had was a burning pain that was sensitive to any touch, even just rubbing against clothes when I walked. There was hardly any visible rash.

I tried several antifungal, antibiotic, and steroid creams in various combinations. None worked, and I was fairly debilitated for months. What finally cured me was relatively simple: soaking the area in hot (but not scalding) water for 5 minutes, then immediately applying a quality moisturizing lotion. I used one called DML that a dermatologist had given me for a patch of eczema in the past. I would do this 3-4 times per day.

I still don't really know what I had, let alone if you have the same thing, but our symptoms sound similar so you might want to give this a try. Good luck!

This sounds eerily similar to what I'm dealing with. I have issues with it rubbing against clothing, as well.

Going to try the lotion you recommend. Appreciate it.

Lots of great responses here. I truly appreciate it, fellas.

Going to document things here every week or so, as this has been a bitch to deal with and maybe it'll help some guys in the future.

This has been a pain in the ass and I wouldn't wish it on any of you.

My plan of attack after gathering all the info presented here and looking around online:

- Rest, rest, and more rest. No orgasms, sex, or masturbating for the foreseeable future. At least 7-8 weeks.

- Go to the best urologist in my area next week. Calling for an appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll find someone who actually gives a shit about the issue and can prescribe more than a cream.

- Applying Man 1 Oil every night. This appears to be a penile health cream filled with nutrients needed for supple, strong dick skin.

- Lay off the gym just a bit. I go every day and the friction from my compression shorts does aggravate the area just a little bit. I'll cut back to 3/4 times a week. Plus, this should allow my body to focus its healing properties on my dick skin a little more. Bro science.

- Supplementing with high doses of Vitamin C, @ 4/5 doses of 3,000 mg a day.

- Also taking Vitamin E, Collagen, Cod Liver Oil, and Alpha Lipoic Acid. This should aid the healing process.

- Start eating a semi-paleo diet and get back to juicing vegetables. Taking a probiotic and paying close attention to any symptoms of candida.

- Using a moisturizing lotion on the area after a hot shower post-gym 3-4X a week.

- If no improvement comes after 3/4 weeks on this regime, I'll start looking into antifungal creams like Canesten. A few friends believe it could be a fungus that doesn't manifest in a rash.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Through this protocol, I hope to cover all my bases and begin seeing some improvements.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me. Similar to jock itch. Try some lotrimin cream for a few days.

BTW, I know this isn't the OP's problem but one thing to watch out for is allergic reactions!

I had a separate issue that cropped up where I started with a small irritation and applied neosporin and instead of getting better it became all swolen and red (almost dark purple). It was thinking I had some sort of infection like MRSA that tends to happen with an unclean wound. It was spreading and getting worse literally by the hour and I went to the ER and they wound up giving me an anti-viral and then anti-biotics. These did nothing for me and it was only after I saw a specialist did he suggest an allergic reaction. After the reaction had run its course things began to return to normal but it was by far the scariest thing that's ever happened to my manhood.

Be really careful that you don't take a minor problem and make it major by putting the wrong stuff on your junk. Now I will only put on the aquaphor vaseline because I know it works.

Desitin cream. It’s used for diaper rash. Will perfectly do the trick here to heal it.
