What is the best choice after HS

Here is the deal, I have two options that I choose for college:
1. Military route to become pilot
2. Electrical engineering and information technology
Both options are very good, both give me opportunity in the future.
So I was wondering if someone can give me some advice regarding this two options.

Now, you didn't give much more information about the length of these degrees, where, how old you are etc. and one can choose for you, but I'd say this...
I would consider doing both.
Becoming a pilot or at least becoming a fighter pilot doesnt require nearly as much studying and hard work as a degree in electrical engineering. I watched this tv show where these dudes were living in a house together for 5 years to become fighter pilots and they all seemed to agree that they didn't have to study much. And the things they studied about the planes etc. wasn't really anything special. They mostly just seem to hit the gym in the morning, study and hour or two and then just fuck around at the hangar. So I suppose you should have some free time is all I'm saying.
A degree in EE requires a hell of a lot more of you but if you somehow can do the degree for a university with distance education you should be able to finish the degree within about 5 yrs while simultaneously becoming a pilot while all the other pilots mostly just fuck around and don't push themselves.
Or I'd just try to become a pilot and with the free time I get I would make sure I set up my own business. I suppose most pilots get a decent wage while they're studying to become pilots, at least that's the case in my country.

I have no experience with any air force, but my gut says that if you want to be a military pilot, be a military pilot, or you'll be sorry you weren't for the rest of your life.
If you're not that committed to military service, get your private sector career rolling now and make plenty of money to fly as a hobby.
You'll only be a young guy looking to join the military once. You can always go back to school for engineering.

Both honestly sound like great careers! I'd say just do whichever one interests you the most.

PrimoVictoria talked before about becoming pilot in the airforce. I have told him that it is a bad idea given the state of our airforce. You will not get F-16 to fly around and play top gun, you will get these half damaged helicopters and MIG-21s. Our airforce is a very sad story, together with land forces and navy. That is what you get with incompetent leadership and low budgets.

You can go ROTC and they will pay for your undergrad AND you can become a pilot. I have friends who did this, one flies F-22s.
My brother's friend even got the air force to pay for his MBA, but he went to the Academy initially, which is miserable.

In the us you need to get a college degree to become a pilot anyways, because you need to be a commissioned officer. (Except for one special program that the army has) And its not like you sign a pilot cantract, I'm pretty sure you get ranked in OCS and the top perfomers their pick their jobs first.

The first question you gotta answer is why do you want to do electrical engineering?
I'm in my second semester for EE, and I'm dropping it after this semester. I absolutely hate every EE class I've taken this semester and last semester. The course work is rigorous, and every class expects a certain amount of hours of studying if you want to do well (by well I'd say getting B's or A's).
Also, taking a bad professor can set you back a ton. It means you will spend most of the class confused and will need to either get help outside of class or study even more. Unless you have your heart set out to do EE, and it's something you really like and would be willing to suffer for for about 3-4 years, I would not recommend taking it. At this point, I'd rather just get a major in Math, get the fuck out of college, and go do something else with my life.

If you think of becoming a pilot, I think RIslander's thread is a very good place to get you started. I assume you are in Croatia, so if you become a military pilot, I don't really recommend it as a career, but as a stepping stone to being a commercial pilot. The highest paying pilot jobs that hire a lot of expats tend to be in China and the Middle East but from what I've heard, management can be even more atrocious than in the West. The pay can be very, very high in these parts of the world; I believe 6 figures Euros starting out for expatriates, so can be good places to hustle for a few years.
In the EU, I don't think the low cost carriers are gonna stop expanding anytime soon (which is bad for game, but good for aspiring pilots), so you might be in luck for that too.
If you think of doing EE/IT, I agree with King of Monkeys that its gonna be a very, very difficult 3-4 years of university. An EE degree prepares you more for being a productive corporate slave in my opinion. I recommend either a math/business combination, or a business/computer science combination, and I lean towards the latter, as programming skills will be VERY important if you want to make money or become location independence, so is business acumen.

Engineering prepares you for the longest career and allows you the most options.
Pilots are good but, engineering is better.

Engineering. If you can dual in EE and RF Engineering, you will have a job till the day you die. Anything that gets you into telecom will be a guaranteed grand slam.

My family pushed me to go to college right after high school, ended up dropping out after a year. Even though I got made fun of for it, I'm glad I choose not to go back...I wasn't ready personally and would have made decisions based on other peoples opinions.
If you have the resources, take some time off, and enjoy yourself. The vacation will help with anxiety of making a lifetime decision. If not, work on building some extra cash to have when you need time off.
