I wouldn't say it bothered me much, it's just that I saw something that I'd never been exposed to before. I've never had a father-son relationship with either my dad or my son where we touched lips.

I was a very affectionate dad with my son, we roughhoused all the time, just as my dad did to me. Here's the thing, Tom Brady and his kids do not have anywhere near the type of father-son relationship any of us on this forum are probably familiar with.

With the amount of travelling his parents do, that kids been raised by nanny's and babysitters. I mean, I know for a fact that tom Brady is in Minneapolis today, and probably has been forma few days.

The reason that looked so awkward is because its probably the third time this NFL season the kid has seen his dad, and on that day hes forced to have cameras in his house and act all family like, which to him is completely unnatural.

Some can sayn"well I'm affectionate with my dad" and that's great. The difference is you are off camera and your personal masseur and the rest of your staff is elsewhere.

It looks weird to me because I didn't do that in my family, or at least I can't remember at what age I stopped. I still kiss my Mom on the cheek but it's hugs for everyone else.

I've travelled enough to know that this type of thing is normal for some families and seen enough poz not to conflate it with the same. I'd just say I'm glad it looks like Tom Brady and his son have a good relationship given how much (or how little) time they're able to spend with each other. I'm certainly lucky that I have a good relationship with my Father despite that problem.
