Ahh the classic gym game.
I've done some searching on the board and found a few threads but maybe us gym rats could get together and discuss the best methods for pulling fitness girls.
It seems like a lot of guys are apprehensive to do approaches at the gym for whatever reason. They claim they are "in the zone" or whatever. Personally, I don't buy this; I have killer workouts and still tend to socialize a bit between sets. BUT, to each his own.
In my opinion these girls are far and away hotter than your average girl or even hot "non fit" girl you see out a bar/wherever. As I'm sure you guys know once you've been with a girl with a rockin' body, most other girls bodies are simply let downs even if they are slim and petite. Few things look better than a thong on a great ass and legs that routinely squats and deadlifts.
Anyways, I'm going to make a habit of this. I workout at an LA fitness so luckily there is plenty to go around.
1st girl - Easy 8.5/9, blonde, great legs/ass, tight waist, make up, fake boobs. The type of girl most guys are intimidated of (myself included) EXACTLY my type of woman.
She is the type who has her headphones on and does not make eye contact with anyone and is constantly on her phone between sets. So, clearly no real opening. In this instance I literally just walked over to her and introduced myself and asked her name. Clearly she was not expecting it but I could tell she was slightly flattered. From there I asked her if she competed because I could tell she was in really good shape. Had some small talk about dieting/lifiting, etc. and I closed it out with "hey I'll let you get back to your workout. We should go out sometime" Unfortunately, she is engaged so clearly no luck. (hard to illustrate this via text but it was a smooth interaction with zero cringe)
I have personally never seen any other guy talk to this chick as she gives off a kind of cold vibe. However, once talking to her it is the exact opposite.
That being said I have been consistently talking to her since with some light flirting. Solid person to talk to at the gym and it is possible she has hot workout friends. Always be planting seeds. I figure its also possible she has some beta fiance...
Girl # 2
This girl I have seen about 2-3 days in a row. Very cute blonde 8 with a solid body (not as good as girl 1, yes I'm shallow AF). This time I decided to experiment and take the long game play.
Yesterday she comes and starts using the bench next to me by the dumbbells. In my opinion, this is your opening. I timed my sets so we would finish at similar times after that I turn over to her and ask "hows your workout?" from there I mention that I hadn't seen her before and we exchanged names & some other small talk. Seemed like a solid interaction. Next time I see her I'll be sure to talk to her and build a little more comfort and hopefully setup a date/ get contact info. I would estimate she was 22-23. During this time there was some other dude lurking in the area as one of those typical "follow the girl around" hoping she will initiate an interaction.
There are a few more girls I want to talk to as well and will likely take the approach of girl # 2.
I hate to be that guy but I definitely don't really recommend doing the direct gym approach unless you are in the top 1-5% of guys at your gym physique/looks wise. (unless you go to some serious meathead gym where everyone is in 1% shape)
My city unfortunately blows for abundance of fitness girls hence why I am moving somewhere warmer/with fitter people.
How about you guys? Any stories or success with girls you've had success/failure with from the gym?
