I'll start.

Mine is Aventus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzODwzjplF4

The ticketing industry is one of the most broken and fraudulent industries out there. Although this is one of 3 projects, I believe it is the best run. The UK is probably the best place to run a start up out of too due to the ease of business and links to the events industry. Hopefully they will make a partnership with Glastonbury Festival in a couple of years and from there, the sky is the limit (target $3000).

Nice shill me your bags thread.

Request Network (REQ - https://request.network/) for me, long-term hold.

Team
Founders of Moneytis and backed by YCombinator (google them), they've been working together for the last 5 years and are have experience building products

What it does
Financial layer/API on top of Ethereum build on smart contracts

Use cases
Payment requests (Venmo)
Currency agnostic transfers (Transferwise)
Payment gateway (Stripe, Paypal)
Auditing (could be used by PwC etc..)
Invoicing (standing orders, loans, salaries...)
IOT (eg. smart contract can tell my battery to sell excess electricity back on the grid, Request would execute the financial side of things)

All this powered by the blockchain, which means immutable, instant and fraction of the cost compared to existing solutions. It's also a utility token which will get burned (users burn REQ to pay the fees) so increasing in value as the supply goes down.

Extremely bullish about this project, currently at a $65M market cap this has the potential to get well over $500M if they realise their ambitious plans (fiat support).

Edit: this mind map explains everything it can do https://www.mindmeister.com/991002501?t=R1iofDilV0

Also heavily in on Request, I know quite a few people on this forum are also big on it, it's an RVF favorite for those in on altcoins.

My biggest position? Such as what I own the most money in? Bitcoin and Litecoin. Easy 6 figures between the two.

REQ is also one of my largest holdings right now, especially given that I doubled down on it when it was in the dumpster at 0.00012-0.00016 REQ/ETH (trading at around 0.00024 REQ/ETH at this point in time).

It's pretty much my moonshot holding- JG laid out some of the use cases above, if anyone is interested in reading more just check out their medium page.

I've been shilling the project since day 1, given the advantages that the platform will be able to provide over current alternatives for its use cases, as well as the professionalism of the team, I'm confident that they will be able to shake up the markets for at least one of their potential applications, which by itself should be enough to get the token value to skyrocket.

Besides REQ I also have a big chunk of my portfolio in ETH, which I fully expect to blow up (even from its current large market cap) once Proof of Stake and some of the network upgrades come through. Seems to me to be one of the most technologically sound currencies out there (although it does have its problems of course) with much more potential for real world utility than the other top market cap cryptos, and has probably the largest and most active community of developers working together to improve the platform. Currently the flippening is considered a joke given the recent resurgence of bitcoin dominance in the market but I think at some point in time the superior technology of Eth will win out.

Got a few hundred in Ripple (XRP), though I think it's going to be a multi year investment before it pays off.

BTC. It's tough to justify staying in alts right now, even the good ones are, relative to BTC, doing quite poorly.

OMG, BTC, IOTA, and Eth in that order. My top 3 are long-term holds, Ethereum is pretty meh in my opinion. Just holding it for diversity's sake.

Spent much of the day researching REQ. Read their whitepaper, team bios, reddit sub, and watched some YouTube videss. Looks like it has a lot of potential, so I've invested. First alt-coin purchase, price is still low compared to ICO as well.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) - 30%.
Second on the list is NEO at 14%.

I've diversified into around 15 coins at the moment, and going a little back and forth in BTC and ETH volume.

Same here, saw the hype for this coin a few hours before it hit exchanges and got in immediately once it did. It's 6xed since then. I'm gonna keep holding and see where this goes. If I can dump it all at $1 I'll be overjoyed.

ChainLink (LINK)

Blockchain agnostic decentralised middleware that connects real world data to smart contracts. Currently works with ETH, BTC and hyperledger but can be adapted to any other blockchains like iota or Neo. I fomoed in when I heard the ceo talk about this project early on.

Long-term: ETH
General Use: BTC
Alt-Coin: SALT, followed by XMR.

I gotta hustle as I fell behind with the alt-coin game--Bittrex as well as Binance can be utterly confounding at times.
