What they don't tell you about happiness is that it's directly linked to your expectations. Western women have been making immense advances over the last 40 years... but their happiness levels are the lowest levels ever recorded. Why? Because their life expectations have skyrocketed. When you just pick things up you don't know there is any other way of looking at the world. In Europe in particular we have latent feminism and latent leftism, which is implied in the society. The majority of people just pick it up and have no reason to question it. It's not presented in an irate tone by a pink-haired feminist. It's just there nonthreatening and unassuming.

Because of the culture of not offending people and thus banning lots of key information that people need to make informed decisions the girl I mention has no idea what growing older really means for a woman in the eyes of all men. Women still hope for all of those things. You have to understand that relationships are a marketplace. The removal of gender expectations from women has created a huge black hole in the dating marketplace.
