Texting Game - Response Time

Accidentally discovered something very interesting by chance a few days ago.

I'm on facebook messenger and I see an unfamiliar button next to each contact. I tap it, expecting a list of options to come up. Instead, it sends a notification to someone, let's call her Stacey, saying I've "waved" at her.

She instantly "waves" back, and says "loool". I tell her it was because I wanted to see what the button does. Then she says, "Sorry I thought you were [someone with a similar name to mine, who, judging by his frequent appearance on her instagram posts, is either her boyfriend or close gay best friend]" and then, "Bit quick to reply innit"

This intrigued me because when I've texted girls before, they've invariably prolonged their response times in some way under the pretence of being away from her phone, which is obviously total bullshit as every girl my age is glued to her phone. Sometimes they've given an explanation (yes, I asked why she took so long to reply back in my beta days) such as, "I was drying my hair" or "I'm watching [show] with my family". It was surprising to see someone admit to making people wait for a reply, not to seem desperate or whatever. I assumed girls weren't forthcoming about that.

So the moral of the story? If you are texting a girl (especially between ages 16-21), you'd better believe she'll be dragging out the correspondence. Roosh's guide to text game will serve you well.

I delay my response to people too. I just don't like to be bothered by frequent texting. What does that mean? Nothing. Sometimes I answer immediately. No system, no logic.

I'd say don't try to figure out what she's doing on her phone. And don't draw conclusions about all women from one woman.

If she's taking her time, who cares. Do something else or maybe don't do anything, but don't be waiting on the phone for some girl, waste of energy.

My evolution of text game is quite hilarious.

I went from:
-Fully grammatically correct, long texts with calculated humor with precise monitoring of response times down to the second
-To degenerate misspellings & totally DGAF vibe where I might not even text back for a week cause I'm busy with work and just text whatever I want and don't care if I get no response cause why take text game seriously.

Surgically precise game is best game.

How about just be busy with your life, and respond when you like. I used to worry about this stuff when I had nothing else going on, but the truth of the matter is you should have girls telling you how "bad" you are at texting. You should be in meetings and making cash, in the gym, and out with your friends and other girls.

Delaying responses is for men that care too much, as stated above.

Excellent point.

Girls frequently comment on how bad I am at texting. I take this as a sign that I am doing something right. I put very little thought into my correspondences. I conserve that energy for Gaming in person. I also don't see the payoff with investing so much mental energy into texting.

It is very difficult to covert a No or Maybe girl into a Yes girl by witty and clever text Game. If a girl is balking at a commitment towards meeting you in person, she won't likely be swayed by your texting.
