What is the opinion on the ground about PiS? If I were to poll a hundred random people at a grocery store what do you suspect they would say?
Most of the people approve of the fact that since PiS started to govern the country Polish economy started to rise remarkably, there is something like 7% unemployment, budget is finally above zero, there's been a lot of helpful reforms implemented, holes in VAT system have been removed which yielded massive results in budget income, selling of the government owned businesses stopped dead (previous governing party in 8 years sold 60 billion worth of companies to privateers, mostly grossly below the real value), people feel the good change and they feel their living situations improved. Poland stopped to be a theoretical country and started to exist again. It started to protect it's own interest again. Silent majority approves of PiS actions, at least most of the time. Silent because PO-PSL propaganda from the past 10 years gave PiS so much black PR that people tend not to openly show their support for the leading party. It's simply uncool to support PiS. During the whole court system reform shitstorm PiS didn't lose support, in fact it gained some.
I'm not sure what happened to the president, citizens expected him to sign the court reforms but he vetoed. I don't know but an hour long telephone conversation between him and Macron leads me to suspect he might have been swayed by the Soros commando.
I don't 100% approve of the actions and the way that PiS is handling things but it basically boils down to one matter - whoever keeps the islamic hordes out of Poland is going to rule and the opposition proved time and time again that they would happily oblige (of course they would, after all they are pro-globalist, Soros-funded scum that hates poles, polish patriots and anything this country stands for). I think that 35-30% of people living in this country, although they may have been born here and speak Polish language, are not poles. I look at the opposition, their loyalty is in Brussels and Berlin, their last names are of German origin, THEY ARE NOT POLES! They despise anything patriotic and genuinely Polish, they think of themselves as Europeans, not Poles. Say anything you want about PiS but these people are at least Poles. Actually, come to think of it, this is the first time since WWII that Poland is being ruled by a majority of Poles.
