Just got pulled over (ran down?) by a cop. First time it's happened in my area in almost two years. He asked for a 1000 peso bribe which I gladly paid as the alternative was going to city hall for an imaginary traffic violation

Can you go into details about what happened? Where was this? What were you driving? Interested in details as many other guys never drive in Manila so curious about your experience.

I meant religion wise - I was always brought up with the idea that everyone in PI was Catholic even though I knew there were lots of different dialects and regions etc.. I never really looked into it that much. Definitely not any ROP stuff.

How big do you think the threat of ROP is in PI compared to previous years? Is it something that has always been a problem or is it reaching a dangerously high point of growth to the extent that it might even take over Visayas at some point?

Or do you think Duterte is going to go in hard on it as he has on drugs? They really do need to wipe those ROP pieces out in the south before it poses more danger to the country as a whole. Is Duterte the right man for the job?

Duterte is from Muslim origin, clearly sympathizes with them, joked about raping that Christian nun once and now he offered the Jihadis an independent Islamic State on Philippines territory - so NO. He also was hesitant about moving against them in the beginning despite the asshats already having beheaded countless people in the streets.

This will become more deadly over time. The geography of the Philippines makes this one hell of a war. Honestly the only solution would be to simply throw out every Muslim out of the Philippines, give them the southern Islands so that they can have their shitty Islamic paradise and then build massive bases and strict borders - no Muslims may enter into the Philippines from this day henceforth! That would make the country instantly Islamic-terror free. Better have a smaller country than such enriching vibrant citizens living among them.

Won't happen of course, because that would be racist. (Also the Muslim part would quickly devolve into some kind of primitive shithole.)

Basically what should be happening everywhere. They flee to go to the western societies for safety and then turn try to turn it into the shitholes they left. Look at everywhere they go, it may not be politically correct but it's true.

The major difference is that asian societies have lived in close proximity of muslims for centuries. It's nothing new and most people have a realistic view of what these people are.

The west has created this sympathetic victim narrative of muslims which is further propagandized by the media:

The brown suffering masses shrouded in a victim cloth only here to work and be peaceful acolytes of capitalism and the American way. They are just like us!

Meawhile noone in the mainstream ever asks the question why these muslim majority countries and territories are abject shit holes or why the men who come from there are mostly savage thirsty pieces of shit who rape and plunder?

Visit now - visit soon - the same goes for France, Germany or UK. Visit those countries now because they descend into civil war and later likely open war with Islam.

France, UK, Germany... these cuntries will never go to war with Islam. The vast majority of men in these societies are fully submissive and passive. Eventually those who want their masculinity back will join Islam.

I don't really disagree with what you are saying here, but I would like to add that it isn't typically the first generation migrants that act shitty. Most men come here with the thought of either making money and then going back home, or they want to get away from Muslims just as bad as we do. I say this because I know many Iraqis and Syrians in my area... the girls are often SUPER HOT by the way.

It's usually the second generation boys that become terrorists. They get sucked in by the social justice asswipes at college. They have never been around asshole muslims and the SJW's convince them that they are some super victimized minority. Then they start searching out this ISIS propaganda online, and before you know it are blowing themselves up for the cause. If we banned SJW propaganda and the teaching of racial grievance many of our terrorist incidences would go away.

There is one group who seems to be an exception to the rule... Afghans. If you hear of a migrant raping someone in Europe... 60% chance it was and Afghan. No idea why, but keep in mind that these are boys that were raised during the US occupation and taught in school under western style education. Perhaps it's a reaction to feminist domination of Islam? I don't know, but it's maybe worth some theories.

Anyway... I hope I added to the thread and I apologize if I'm off topic a bit.

I was on the Manila-Tagaytay highway, whatever it's called. Sports car. Not speeding or driving aggressively. I slowed down for a red light, and some traffic cop saw me, waved, shouted, ran me down. I could have gotten away down some side road but it looked like he was getting my plate number so I just said fuck it, car's registered/I have a license. He kept babbling on in Tagalog to my girl, along with "traffic violation" "city hall". It's just a way to get a bribe. Happened before in Makati once but never in this area and I've lived here for over a year and visited frequently for nearly 2...

Also, I went to renew my visa like two weeks ago. I got there so at like 2:30pm so I had to go back to Manila the next day to get my passport. Both times I was there, there were almost no white people and maybe three times as many arabs compared to any other time I went previously. Maybe just a fluke, dunno. Anyone else notice that?

Been a couple years - and I know - it will be decades, before the situation becomes much worse - hey - it's possible that they get it under control, but I would not count on it.

As for peace treaties with Muslims not working out - you are all unaware of the religion. Making peace treaties and breaking them when the Muslim population is stronger and larger is all about Islam. That is how they conquered Spain and many other regions. That is how Mohammed conquered the Arabian peninsula. He made treaties, attacked weaker tribes, grew in numbers, then broke the peace treaty, killed the men who were so stupid to believe in a peace treaty and then took their women.

There is no peace with Islam - ever!

Give them the Southern Islands and then let them have their ISIS Caliphate down south - ban them all from ever entering the rest of the country.

Interesting. Glad to hear this doesn't happen to you often.

I would get pulled over on my motorcycle at check points fairly often cruising around Manila late at night. Never had a problem. Seems they were mostly looking for stolen motorcycles. As soon as I showed them my license and registration they would let me go. Never had them them threaten me with a ticket or ask for a bribe.

I did get chased down once when I got on the Manila-Cavite toll road on my motorcycle. They have a 400cc minimum for motorcycles which my bike was less than so a cop in a pick up truck caught me just as I was exiting the toll.

He was all about writing me a ticket. Never even indicated anything about giving him money. I had to play up a story that I was flying out of the country soon and needed my license. Could I please pay him cash so I didn't have to go pick it up and deal with the bureaucracy. When I offered him a 1000 pesos he told me to drive another 500 meters to get out of the eyes of the toll cameras. Then I paid him and he let me go.

Unlike Thailand and Indonesia where I was going to pay a bribe no matter what I found the cops in Manila to be somewhat professional in comparison. Not any where as corrupt at Indonesia. Those guys are just the mafia.

I'm here right now. Everyone is afraid. The other day, I was in an Uber and there was an armored personnel carrier patrolling EDSA in Makati.

This really isn't the place to visit. Why would you want to live in a battlefield? (Or even worse, visit one thinking you'll have fun)

It's not only the safety, but the girls seem a lot more closed off to foreign guys these days. Major change in the last year.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

Nah. Asian dudes are rarely with Filipinas, and when they are, the girls are average at best.

It's the growing number of Filipinos from new rich families. They're cleaning up more than any white guy I know here. I'm friends with one. Went to the bar with him and some of his friends two weeks ago, they started sharing pics of the girls they banged recently, all of them smoking. The guy I mentioned one-upped everyone with a shitty iphone video of him deflowering a 9. That girl's friend was chatting him up that night, wanting to meet. He's 5'2 and chubby.

Upper class guys from the Trustfund society even when growing up in Switzerland - the pussy drought - they get laid like gangbusters if they are not autistic retards. Some high-end clubs even have private key areas where only such rich heirs are given entry. When they blow regularly 2000$ per weekend on champagne and don't consider this much, then they are given such entry passes. Inside there are only them 18-20something rich boys/heirs (and a few of their buddies) and hot girls - essentially only hot girls are let in just like that. They can usually pick and choose any girl if she is not coming from the same class.

Some countries have different areas where this happens - in some cities it is more happening in exclusive parties where one rich heir throws parties at a house his dad does not use - he invites his buddies or other rich classmates and scores and scores of girls come.

Most often those guys are not bad looking and rarely fat. In poorer countries I am sure that they can be butt-ugly and fat and have equally well results.

Today I checked in with a friend in the Philippines who is pretty well off and educated (owns 3 apartments in Makati). She tends to worry a lot about worst case scenarios even in good times. She did however say that things are indeed really dangerous there right now and that she isn't going far from her little corner of Makati.

Just got back from Manila (Makati)/ Angeles/ Puerto Princesa/ El Nido.

Everything seems as normal and safe as it was in 2015. Nobody I spoke to was thinking about terrorism. Even girls from Mindanao, it just wasn't on their minds. The only differences were a) hotels were cheaper and b) I saw virtually no Americans anywhere. Where there were Americans in Makati, I now saw young Saudis and other horny Middle Easterners. This is perhaps due to the US state dept. terror warnings on Philippines, which included Palawan. Or maybe just rainy season.

My hotel in PP had an armed guard poised to vigorously fight off Abu Sayyaf's beheading fleet for 100 pesos/ day, but who knows if this is even new. Many places have shotgun toting private security, as normal.

The public smoking ban is a much bigger deal. People are largely observing it. A major lifestyle change.

El Nido is gorgeous and absolutely worth a trip.
