Hey guys, I was wanting to get some advice on the where to go's in Japan. (If anything useful, Korea, and Taiwan as well, however I'm under the impression they're a little less 'artful').

Anyone got any suggestions for a good place to see some really Japanese levels of crazy?

I'll be in Tokyo weekend of the 21st of July, for 10 days. Leaving from Osaka to Korea after that.

Fetlife is much better if you are looking for stuff abroad. It's almost useless for Americans. One person joked that it should be called Fatlife.

Yes Fetlife will give u a better idea as there are specific groups relating to S&M etc - u just choose the country...

Piggybacking off of other comments I'd say definitely try Fetlife and although rudimentary, you could definitely find people through the search function. In America tho.. yeah, majority of people on Fet and who congregate through it (depending on location obviously) are overweight. Good people, just.. not the type I'd like.

Otherwise... Anthony Bourdain did an episode on Japan that touched on some crazy shit that happens in Japan. I've been there (albeit back in highschool) and can attest that it can be VERY fun!

Funny you ask. A friend of mine is an investment banker with a big Japanese bank. When they are promoted to associates, they are all sent out to head office in Japan for a couple of weeks to work and stay with families from head office. My friend asked the guy he was staying with to show him the weirdest thing he could think of.

One night after work they went out to a seemingly innocuous bar. Looking around my friend could see that all the seating was in booths. A few groups of business men, a few single dudes, no chicks. It's only when they go to sit down he realises that there are holes cut in the seats. Inside each hole is a kitten. Supposedly you dangle your balls through the hole, whilst enjoying your drink, and a kitten will run around and swat your balls, or brush up against them.

You wonder what happens to all these moggies once they reach the age of majority. Are they handed out to spinsters, to love and cherish? Are there hordes of feral, ball obsessed cats roaming the streets of Tokyo? I don't know. Having heard the story though I'd be very careful about dropping trou in front of any Japanese girl with a cat. You'd only have an instant to spot the thousand yard stare and cover your modesty before the animal was on you, swatting at your tackle with its adult claws.

Back over a decade ago when I first went to Tokyo, I hit up almost every random bar and club (that would allow me in) to just go with the flow seeking out random adventures.

Anyways, I end up in this one bar and it seems normal at first with a good mix of Japanese businessmen, a few foreigner OLDER WOMEN and some cute J-girls dressed in what seemed initially like goth clothing (which is normal in many parts of Tokyo) To my surprise, people were actually very open and friendly, both guys, girls, foreigners, Japanese so it was a generally good vibe.

Again, everything is normal and I'm in this conversation with an Aussie woman and Japanese guy until I suddenly notice behind the table, this dude had his pants down.

And then I turned around and there's this total Japanese businessman getting on his knees while one of the goth looking J-girls comes up and starts whipping him hahahaha. I'm fucking remembering it all now, fucking craziest shit I ever seen but funny as hell.

And that's when it hit me while all these ppl were cool as fuck because if you look at the deeper meaning behind all of this, everybody here could express themselves however the fuck they wanted to and nobody gave a shit.

Everybody respected each other's kinks which 100% of all humans have, both guys and girls.

Anyways, this spot is in Roppongi, the foreigner area of Japan. From what I remember, they had a menu and the general impression I got was you could pay a girl to either dominate you or for a much more expensive price, you could dominate her, meaning whip her. I don't think sex was automatically included but you never know.

If you're into the whole S & M scene, you probably already know the general guidelines more than anybody here so maybe you can enlighten us but yeah, it's about 5 to 10 min walk from Roppongi crossing, major intersection there.
