My father lived in Germany for a few years in the 1980s, and said (usually playfully and half-serious) that all of that nation's good stock had died in both world wars, and your average kraut was some pathetic scrawny guy barely above 5'5 who couldn't grow facial hair.
Concerning Hitler, I've struggled through about half of Mein Kampf (sadly, it's such a rambling book, even a good translation is tough to get through). Much of what Hitler says about the problems of democracy are spot on, and especially when it concerns European democracy. He also had plenty reason to be as angry as he was - World War I is even TODAY, in 2017, called the catastrophe that destroyed the West. Imagine how horrible it must have seemed around 100 years ago right as it ended.
Sure, the Jews influenced enough of European politics and wartime conflict to be seen as a major problem. I don't know what a "correct" way of dealing with this problem would have been, though, especially since I've only recently begun to question the official narrative of World War II. I can only say that the Holocaust was far from the worst atrocity ever carried out by man, and it should be seen as pretty telling that it's still focused on like it happened yesterday when the even worse atrocities carried out by Turkey in WWI or Rwanda in the 1990s are met with a hand wave and seen as angry sepia-toned people shooting each other.
Sometimes I wonder - if Hitler had never existed, who would the Democrats compare Republicans to every election season? Brutal military leaders like Caesar and Napoleon are REVERED today. It's almost like Hitler was tailor-made to be the perfect curse word.
I used to worship Hitler, and I was a strong follower of National Socialism because he overcame a lot of obstacles and he was probably one of the most energizing speakers of all time. Another thing that I found appealing about him was that he represented the common man. He was not an AP student growing up, but he knew history and government and he was an artist. He took marginalized political party with 58 members and he grew it into a party with millions of followers. He survived multiple assassination attempts, and was imprisoned for trying to start a coup.
You also can't forget that under his leadership the German unemployment rate went down from 33% to something like 3%. The history books conveniently leave a lot of these facts out. If you ask most people about the 1936 Olympics, they will tell you that Hitler snubbed Jesse Owens. The truth is he only congratulated first day Olympic winners and Jesse Owens happened to win on the 2nd day. They will also leave out the fact that Germany won the Olympics that year.
A lot people will call Germany racist and xenophobic, but the truth was quite different. Germany had one of the biggest foreign legions of all time and most of the troops were mercenaries that fought in the Africa. Hitler also had a correspondence with Mahatma Ghandi and he gave Mercedes cars to foreign heads of state.
A lot of people claim he was a Nordicist, but if you look at a lot of his cabinet members you will see that they would look out of place in somewhere like Scandinavia. (Martin Bormann, Rudolf Hess, Heinrich Himmler, and Joseph Goebbels)
If you take a step back though and look at the whole picture, the guy was not perfect. He was said to be very abusive and controlling towards his love interests, and rumor has it that he sired a child with a 16 year French woman. He was also said to be a hard drug user, despite promoting a campaign to end smoking. It was also said that he went through great pains to erase his ancestral records which were said to have proved his Jewish ancestry. Near the end of the war, he could be downright impulsive and stupid with his decision making. Many German soldiers lost their lives because they weren't equipped to survive the cold Soviet winters. He also fought a war on two fronts, one in the east and one in the west.
As for National Socialism, it really was just an amalgamation of multiple different pagan religions and political ideologies. The Swastika is really a universal symbol and many people associate it with the Indian Hindu religion. If you ask many anthropologists though, they will say that the Swastika originates from the Ukraine or Serbia. You also have term Aryan. Aryan is an Indo-Iranian term that translates as "noble". A lot of people claim that most European countries speak Indo-European languages, but Sanskrit looks very different from a typical European alphabet. As for the subject of the Iranians, most Iranians have a distinct look from most European people.
Many of Hitler's political staff were true pagans at heart. Many had love triangles going on, and some would patronize prostitutes. A lot of them used the blanket of Christianity to hide their true religion. Hitler himself was said to have been against reviving paganism, and on many occasions he said that Germany would be a glorious colonial power if it had adopted Islam as it's national religion. I myself liked the idea of Islam because I knew many Christians that lacked the discipline and cold hard conviction that most adherents of Islam followed, but then I read up on the Kaaba, and it seems as if the Kaaba is really just like worshipping the cube of Saturn.
Saturn is a gaseous dark planet lacking in oxygen. Some people say it is the closet thing to hell in our planetary system. The black sun that is prominent in Nazi ideology is thought to be representing Saturn. I had a nightmare that I was exiled for a time to the planet of Saturn, and I can tell you it wasn't pleasant.
Finally, if you look at the way Hitler died, he died at his own hands by using a revolver and a cyanide pill. He didn't die by wearing a crown of thorns or by being nailed to a 90 lb cross while being mocked by Roman soldiers and Jews. So in a sense, Hitler is a false idol and messiah. His reign lasted 12 years instead of the 1000 year Reich he promised. The gospel teaches you that there will be a peaceful 1000 year reign of Christ.
