Liberal Paradise - Evergreen College

Despite the hate from the outside, the progressive administration of Evergreen College are staying strong in their commitment to tolerance and dialogue.

Seems to be working out for them.

(I am glad they were able to find at least one black person willing to pose with them. Otherwise it might have been bad optics for a racial uprising.)

Freshman trolls protesters by defending the right to like Limp Bizkit.

Quote:Quote:

A freshman at Evergreen, Nolan (he preferred not to publish his last name), has started a polite, subversive, Limp Bizkit-themed resistance against the gaggle of protesters.

Nolan and a few friends are writing relatively uncontroversial messages in chalk around the school, like “we want to learn,” and “college is not a safe space.”

The first time he went out to chalk, Nolan was assaulted by members of the mob, who poured water on him and ripped off his glasses. The confrontation began when he was covering graffiti calling for Weinstein’s firing with the message, “Limp Bizkit did nothing wrong.”

Quote:Quote:

The campus erupted in protest a two weeks ago when biology professor Bret Weinstein emailed a student criticizing their plans for the “Day of Absence.” Usually the event is conducted by students of color leaving the campus for the day, but this year they wanted to coerce all white students and faculty to leave instead. Weinstein called this an act of oppression of its own, and was pilloried by hundreds of students who in effect took over the campus in Olympia, Washington.

Since then the school’s administration and faculty have capitulated to almost all the protesters demands and are completely humiliated on a regular basis. It’s all filmed and uploaded to YouTube. The protesters are effectively running the campus, which has been shut down since Thursday due to a violent anonymous threat made to police.

But not all students are giving into the tyranny of mob rule.

A freshman at Evergreen, Nolan (he preferred not to publish his last name), has started a polite, subversive, Limp Bizkit-themed resistance against the gaggle of protesters.

Best quote in the article:

Quote:Quote:

I wrote it to prove these guys aren’t here to have a discussion, they are here to violently bully the campus into submission,” Nolan said by phone. “It wasn’t the most intimidating bunch and I felt I was in control of the situation.

Some of Nolan's other work:

Both sides are sheltered college kids. This guy is writing Limp Bizkit-themed messages in chalk. Hardly a hero.

Last I checked, trolling wasn't supposed to be heroic. He is a college student, having fun, as well as delivering the one thing that repels SJWs.

Ridicule.

In the article he makes a good point that if he just pushed the wheelchair over when the woman kept trying to ram him at 0.5 mph, he'd be the villain. Actually that was most likely the reason they brought a "special" person along with their cultural revolution posse in the first place.

Yeah, retaliating is what they dream of. Get the white college oppressor on camera being violent.

He just makes fun of them and they flap around, pour water, assault a pair of glasses.

Also, I heard at some point that the protesters were claiming that the campus police was targeting black female trans disabled.

I thought they were piling on the victim categories in desperate act of creativity.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe that was her.

The Boomer is immunized against all dangers: one may call him a scoundrel, parasite, swindler, profiteer, it all runs off him like water off a raincoat. But call him a Boomer and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back: “I’ve been found out.”

This is now an Eternal Boomer thread.

I guess that it depends on whether you believe in the following:

If you don't believe in this cycle, than I am afraid that we will have to disagree.

If you do than I have to ask, how do you think it happens that weak men and hard times happen? They don't just magically appear, they come through the failings of one generation to pass on the teachings earned in the hard times that made the times hard. I don't think that the boomer generation was born into weakness, nor were they taught to be weak, but I contend that subsequent generations were born into weakness and were taught to be weak.

Having said that, while I am paying for the sins of past generations, why don't you had the 20 trillion debt that is my fault as well. I certainly am going to be paying that off one way or another. Don't forget the add the Kennedy, and the Tsar of Russia assassinations. I also rode a tank and held a generous rank while the blitzkrieg raged. [Image: dodgy.gif]

They are so mental that they think they look cool like a poster for the Avengers.

Here is a thing with these teachers and administrators, when these students were going after conservatives teachers and other students with different points of view, they were ok with it, eventually everyone with different opinion was driven out the schools, now there are not conservatives to go after, they will attack their own.

I agree - it is not as if the boomer generation decided to create policies that destroy families, destroy the economy and rip apart the ethnic makeup of the country.

The brainwashing came from above. The only thing that we can accuse them of if that they believed and still believe the propaganda. But the new brainwashed Millennials, SJWs and feminists are not any better - in many ways they are even worse than the clueless boomers. At least the new generation has access to alternative info, but refuses to believe it.

[Image: Screen-Shot-2017-02-09-at-1.23.36-PM.jpg]

I see nothing changed, but even better propaganda and far more leftist conditioning working on the new generation.

When you look at history, there is always a new generation reversing what is the current system, young people have the need fight what they see as the dominant ideology and system.

Just like the 60s and 70s generation saw itself as revealing against their parents conservatives values from the 40s and 50s, look the internet and how young people using memes have turned into a political revolution.

Conservatism has become the new counter couture, and young people love being edgy.

This just in.

Evidently there is a student at Evergreen named Calix Aleister Smith-Crowley.

He wrote his own major:
Quote:Quote:

Calix Aleister Smith-Crowley, who designed his own storytelling major at Evergreen, lobbied for the creation of Rainbow Fort as a student several years ago.

What is a rainbow fort?

Quote:Quote:

Students at Evergreen State College, where armed vigilantes have started anti-racist patrols, can find a reprieve from the harsh realities of dorm life in their very own “safe space.”

The Rainbow Fort is a themed housing option for LGBTQ students and well-wishers that vows to create “intentional, supportive environments for students around the concepts of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.”

If you are a Boomer reading this, you are no doubt outraged, scandalized and offended at my comments. Just to be clear, I’m not talking about you. You are an exception. In fact, you are unique, like a snowflake, a special creation that stands in stark contrast to the conformity of your coevals. You’re special! That’s always been the amusing part about Boomer culture. They love talking about themselves, but hate it when others talk about them. Everyone is conservative about what think they know best, as Derb would say.
[…]
Anyway, hanging around the bad kids on-line, I’ve noted their extreme hostility to Baby Boomers and Boomer politics. It’s not the normal youthful rejection of their parent’s stuff as their parents are not Boomers. In the case of the 20-somethings, their parents are my generation. Their grandparents are the Boomers. This means the so-called Gen-Z and Millennials literally want to push granny off a cliff. I’ve read screeds by youngsters to that effect. They really hate the Boomers and not in an abstract way.
