Gaming in Sydney vs Melbourne

Which of the below locations would you guys go to? Choosing between these two cities to work in and I can pick one specific location to work:

Sydney (East Gardens, Richmond, Ryde, North Rocks)

OR

Melbourne (Frankston, Brandon Park, Knox, Parkmore)

Want to live near day/night game spots AND work. Details appreciated, if possible please state how long you were in each place, your experiences and success rate.

East Gardens

Those Melb locatons are pretty shit.Nothing in Parkmore and Brandon Park.Knox is jiust a huge shopping center.
Ftankston has maybe 2 good clubs/bars but I don't know how Asian friendly it is plus zero transient travellers

Sydney Richmond is way out in country.Nth Rock out west..I have had a couple chicks ftom Ryde but not sure on dynamics out there.

Just goimg by the map East Gardens gives you access to Sydney city and beaches. Also way bigger backpacker traveller market dtf .The Melb locations just gives you the suburbs plus bad weather compared to Sydney beaches.

Cheers man. That was what I was thinking. Although, what do you think of living somewhere between Brandon Park and st kilda/Southbank?

East Malvern, Chaddy??? I use to live around there and its not for pickup it's for families.
Melbourne is a woman's town dude.I don't know you or how much money you have etc or what you want.Game is everywhere but you are not going to get the kind of female traffic in suburban Melb as you would in Sydney.beachside burbs.

Okay I see point taken. I wasn't thinking about gaming where I live but thinking more along the lines of those places cutting down travel time to city/southbank/st kilda area. Just out of curiousity what makes you say it's a woman's town?

Suburban sprawl vs. suburban sprawl, doesn't matter gaming wise and logistics will likely suck. I'd choose what ever is more convenient for work or lifestyle things you want to do. St.kilda area has backpackers, but it's also a degenerate shithole in most parts. Didn't think i'd ever see my suburb posted on here!

Knox is probably your best best for Melbourne. There is one or two bar/club in Knox Shopping Center that you could frequent. There is a lane for cafes and eateries out on the strip of the Shopping Center that you could game. Apart from that its suburb life, you will have to travel to CBD or Chapel for night game or any action which is about 40-1hr+ travel time.

Frankston is a shit hole, decent beach, people are messed up, I wouldn't even think of travelling there.
