TeddyWestside approach thread and journal

New to game and just out of a LTR. Basically I'm looking improve myself and get more confidence around girls and hopefully more lays. Thought I'd start a thread to help me a long and get advice which will most likely be needed. I'll start with a bit of basics and my own thoughts on what I need to do.

Age - 25. Based - UK.
Looks - maybe a 6/10, wouldn't say I'm ugly or anything maybe just average.
Not been single in about 6/7 years with a couple of LTR.
I've been with a small amount of girls, mostly from relationships plus a couple of tinder hook ups.
Would say I dress quite well, I try and pick styleish clothes and look after my appearance and hair.
Don't really work out as I have quite an active job so I'd say I'm in decent shape.
Not sure what else I can say about the physical stuff so will move onto approaches.

I guess that I could say I'm just not used to approaching and talking to girls out with my social circle, I think it feels a bit intimidating just going up to a girl but I'm determined to improve this. I will start building up slowly and talking to more girls , cashiers, bank tellers, tourists etc. Have read a lot of the forum and articles on openers so I think I should be able to start a conversation then hopefully carry it on. Small steps. I've been told that I'm a nice guy by girls before and I think that holds me back as I'm not as up front and confident as I should be with girls. Going to start my lifestyle change today, get out there and see what happens.
Thanks in advance.

I'd say do your future self a favor and start working out ASAP. Pick a goal that appeals to you (be stronger, look better, move better) and work toward it. It'll help you mentally beyond the physical aspect.

On the nice guy thing, same boat here. Tough one but sometimes it works in your favor, especially when you're aware of it and in the context of all the positive changes.

Good luck on your journey
