Just wanted to give the gang here a heads up on a great series I've been watching on Netflix streaming. It's called "Vietnam in HD."

It's a multi-part series on the Vietnam War, with vast amounts of new live footage of the war. You get everything from firefights in the bush to intimate cabinet meetings of LBJ.

Highly recommended.

Ctrl-F'd "Hjernevask" and did not find it in this thread. I consider it to be absolutely fundamental Red Pill watching.

Its a documentary by a Norwegian comedian who, through interviewing scientists on both sides, makes the convincing argument for nature over nurture for things such as race, gender, intelligence, etc as well as well as a look inside the corrupt gender politics of Norway.

Here is the first episode:

BTW, I recommend not to embed too many videos a page, it drives up bandwith and lags like crazy after a while. However, I have a lot of things to contribute to this thread.. documentaries I've liked enough to personally archive and keep safe on my EHD. Here is a list of the material. Bookmark them and watch 'em later, I promise that you won't regret this decision.

A Blank on the Map - An old doc from 1971, detailing Papua New Guinea, the least explored place in the world. 40+ years later, and there's still much to be discovered here.

The Cannibal Warlords of Liberia - exactly what it says on the tin.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRuSS0iiFyo

The Lord of the Ants - I'm an insectologist at heart.. I love to study how these life forms act. So this doc is awesome to me.

The men of the Fifth World

Forging a Katana

And last but not least..

Stupid in America. A 20/20 special from 2006 detailing how shitty americas schools were. Nowadays, the schools seem to be feminazi indoctrinating centers with extreme amounts of tests everywhere, so I think this documentary is more important than ever.

I've also been using

Catch me if you can - forgot who authors this but found it on netflix a while back and really liked it. Its about changing your identity and how to fool security cameras, fingerprint systems etc. Researched everything and it was 100% on par.

It's kind of relevant in the context of Trump's candidacy and the need for better enforcement on the southern border.

This is a great thread, with some great documentaries which I look forward to watching.

One of my personal favourites: Psywar.

A look at how the system uses PR / propaganda to control the narrative.

The Up Series

This British documentary began in 1964. The series opened by interviewing 7 year olds from various economic backgrounds. Every seven years the participants were interviewed again.

Interesting series. If you believe that culture, class and upbringing determine life outcome, these films will confirm your beliefs. If you believe instead that genetics is the primary factor, you'll come away thinking that the films prove that.

It's a long series to watch in its entirety, so if you're short on time watch the first and last episodes.

That's a good recommendation for how to watch these. The first installment is called Seven Up. The latest one is 56 Up.

I enjoyed Kumare...it had me in stitches. Frickin' hilarious. Some Indian guy pretends to be a guru, moves to Arizona, and gets a bunch of suburbanites to become his followers. The whole thing ridicules the liberal Westerners romanticization with Eastern religion.

The guy is a major shitlord.

Another gem is American Movie—a story about an aspiring director of horror films in Michigan and his stoned-out buddy.

The scene from 1:15 to 1:55 is a great sample of what to expect…

Speaking of "American Movie", I'd like to recommend "Demon Lover Diary", if you can find it. In the late 70's, two filmmakers were hired to follow along a pair of comic and horror fans who were about to make a horror movie. They were allowed to shoot their own "Making Of" footage in the process. The movie came out years later and can be found as "The Devil Master" on YouTube. It's as bad as anything you can imagine. The documentary, about the production, is "Demon Lover Diary" and shows two guys who are determined to make that movie, with hilarious results. They even end up at Ted Nugent's house to borrow some guns.

"Bobby Fischer Against the World"

As a former professional chess player, the life and game of Fischer always fascinated me. Also the fact that he was either adored or hated (Which I experienced in Iceland 2 years ago, older people remembered him fondly, but younger generation didn't like talking about him).

Very unique individual, this is the best documentary I've seen on him.

Great movie. I saw it a few years back.

I was shocked at how many great chess players have gone insane over the years - one of the subplots of the movie.

A number of short documentaries have been made about American physicist (and player) Richard Feynman:

Pleasure of Finding Things Out
The Fantastic Mr Feynman
No Ordinary Genius

Feynman has been discussed many times on the forum, also on Return of Kings. His book "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman" got me out of a post-college rut, reminding me of what is possible in life.

Here's Roosh on Feynman: thread-13585...#pid222552

Little tip: you guys shouldn't just drop off a YouTube link without a description. Links and videos tend to die after a while so if you haven't posted the NAME and DESCRIPTION of the documentary, your contribution to this thread might be gone after a while
