While looking into the Identitarian Movement, I found this highly interesting project:

1. A patriotic radar: On a radar and a google Maps integration you see all the other users and get in contact with them. On the app you see all patriotic events and meeting points close to you, so that you never walk alone. You can turn yourself visible or invisible on the app, anytime you want.

2. Gamification of networking Every user has a QR-Code and scanner. If you “peer up”, and scan others you earn points and level up. The higher the level, the more points you are “worth” when being scanned. When you visit places like monuments, or patriotic events you also earn points. Being active is rewarded and a lot of achievements and easter eggs, will wait for you in this augmented, patriotic reality of PPeer.

This app shall become a tool for the silent majority that is afraid of the “big other”. PPeer will visualize the forgotten and invisible masses who keep this society alive and help them to organize and gather. It’s like an catalyst, we want to put into the current society, to disrupt the “firewall” of a boring and stupid speech cult. We want an open, honest and fearless dialogue. 1. What about privacy and big data? First of all: For us data security is of upmost importance. That’s why we don’t go for a fast and cheap hybrid app but will keep it as clean and secure as possible. However, we have to understand: If you use You Tube to watch patriotic videos, if you use Facebook to like patriotic pages, then you already are on a “list” – in case someone is searching for such a thing. We have to get another mindset. Instead of hiding away and indulging in fear and paranoia, we should change the state of this public opinion, that is creating that fear in the first place. Change needs openness, change needs masses and change needs patriotic peer. (However, you can always choose to be a passive invisible participant of the game. It’s just a bit boring. )

2. Extremists could use this app to find and attack others. We will have a clear policy to prevent any abuse, violence and extremism in PPeer. Exactly the type of pitch you'd expect from a used car salesman trying to sell the worse car on his lot but its got nice interior upholstery!

And Google maps?

That app is linked to a massive database which can and does real-time data to within a few minutes based on passive user input. Not only this I would think the creator of this app would have realised the word "Google" in Google Maps would give away the game of big corporatyions who stiffle alternate media outlets no?

Facebook already farms user data from Whatsapp.

Sounds like a trap.

It will take time for 'patriot' people and other types to organize.

Cheap and fast methods that don't take much hard work like this? Either something's fishy or it doesn't work as well as it says.
