POF is the lowest of the low because it's free and outdated and "ghetto"-looking. It's for women who are too poor/cheap to pay for Match/eHarmony and too lazy to want to answer the OK Cupid questionaire.

pof is an absolute dumping ground, not just for the women but the men too. Some may think that's an advantage but it's not when you have 100s of low smv men hitting on the few decent women who dare register and they drive them away. A few years ago I had made a program to auto message newly registered girls without a pic and had listed their body type as thin/athletic/average. It would check every 30 minutes and send a message then if they responded I would reply manually later and move to text and get pictures there.

About 10% were bangable, of those every now and then a rare 8 would show up but all of the bangable and up chicks would later mention that they got flooded with messages after uploading a picture and something to the effect of "im glad you're the first guy that messaged me because you're normal" and many said they deleted their account or just never logged in again. I'm guessing the ones who remained were just there for the attention or were desperate enough to put up with it.

I don't know if that tactic will still work, I don't use pof anymore but speaking with guys who do it sounds like it's gotten much worse since then and rapidly degrading on a day to day basis. With tinder and bumble I think most of them women left on pof are the ones who don't get swipes or girls with mental issues/desperate for attention so they're on every single dating site/app.

Just thought i'd throw it out for anyone interested in trying, you can probably do it using imacros extension for chrome/firefox. Its easy to use after you watch a few youtube tutorials.

POF has turned into a dating site for mature folks. Especially since it won't even allow you to see women much more younger than you!

I just had one of my former students (grad school) send me a message on POF! I wasn't interested when she tried throwing the P at me after class and I'm not interested now. I hate being put into positions like this, but oh well, she'll get ignored like all the other undesirables.
