South America, Nov or Dec/Jan/Feb

So I just discovered this forum - what's that, a bunch of internet dudes bonding over travelling experiences of their dicks? Sounds awesome, ha ha!

I'm planning a South American "Tour" (as I like to call it) in the upcoming winter. Ideally it should look like this: Starting out in Rio, 10 days or so Brazil. Then on to Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Asuncion by train, staying about 4 days in each city (I found that you can get to know a city to a certain extent in 4 days, it seems like the ideal duration for a short trip). On to Lima then, probably by flight, followed by Quito and by Colombia (Bogota and Medellin?). If we still feel fit for Caracas in the end, then let's finish off with this city; from what I have read on this forum, it's very dangerous there though.

The planned duration is about 6 weeks (Could also be a bit more or a bit less), the time is ideally from the beginning of November till mid December. January to mid February could be a possibility too; much later than the end of February is not possible for me.

I know a couple of people along the way, and I'm fluent in Spanish and planning on learning some very basic Portuguese before starting out.

In regards to game, I'm a beginner, but moving fast and in the process of destroying my comfort zones. I'm 6'4'' (190 cm) tall and consider myself goodlooking. Dark hair, so maybe that will spare us one mugging or the other, ha ha...!

Btw, I also lived in Los Angeles for 2 years, so don't be shy, Americans!

I see what you are saying here.

Anybody who is seriously considering this, shoot me a PM and we will figure out how to get to know each other (Skype, visit, facebook, etc., etc.) before we decide to do something like this together. Seems to me like there are ways much simpler than writing hundreds of posts on this forum within three months time.

This seems like a super ambitious trip if your only planning on spending 4 days in each capital city through most of south america. I'm not sure how long your going to be traveling in total, but it doesnt sound like very long with such a tight itinerary. If I were you I would focus on 3 countries, maybe start in rio, go down to florianopolis in south brazil, kick it in uruguay for a bit and then spend some time in argentina. That in itself is a pretty comprehensive trip.

Then make a seperate trip and do peru, ecuador and colombia.

The plan is for it to take around 6 weeks; while ambitious, it should be doable.

So far, it's only a very rough schedule. The details still need to be worked out; I have to consider the wishes and the schedule of a travelling partner too. If we see it's getting too much, there is always the option of leaving something out.

While it mustn't become too hectic, it should be packed of adventure... just... epic!

What are your primary goals from this trip?

Neil: Yeah, that looks like a pretty dense schedule. Checked out your website, very interesting stuff! How are you moving, by train? Which ones are your favorite places in SA? Any advice on security, etc.?

Roosh: My primary goals are getting to know this (sub)continent, which has been fascinating to me ever since (some places I will probably never come back to, some I will be back to soon), picking up some girls (or at the very least getting a lot better with it and trying some crazy shit), getting to know the differences between the cultures and the people down there and having some off-the-hook adventures.

Why are you asking?

If anybody wants a rough schedule for this, PM me! I will decide between the Nov/Dec and the Jan/Feb date in mid to late September.

Omg, I wanna kill this happy dancing banana to my left..!

I'll do the whole of South America by bus, except for the amazone.

Favorite places so far in SA- Cordoba, Santiago and Quito.

I will write an article about security soon on my site.

Ok, thanks! Why by bus and not by train?

Not that many trains in south America and busses are cheaper.

Montevideo will be my base for 3 weeks in November so if you are swinging through at that time then hit me up.

Too bad, I'm heading there in a few days. I'll try to write a data sheet

I will be in Peru around 1-17 Nov. Will be in Lima and then up to the beaches in the northern part - Huanchaco, trujillo, etc.

What sucks are airfares Lima - Trujillo - Cajamarca - Lima = $425 if you do not have a Peruvian Id. Local nationals pay $180. Might have to get a fake ID.

Panama City after that.

I know expats there. Anyone that wants to run LMK.
