Mass shooting at Ft. Lauderdale Airport

False flag or not, our political elite intent on infringing on American's 2nd amendment rights in any and every way possible are certainly not going to let this latest crisis go to waste...

In the meantime Florida Representative. Debbie Wasserman Schultz says she intends to head to Washington and begin work on reviewing airport gun procedures.

"Not only the question of whether or not you should be allowed to check a firearm when you travel at all rather than ship it or transport it in some other way. We need to more minutely examine the question of if you are going to continue to allow that in what way are we going to reunite you with your firearm? Because if there is still exposure to the traveling public of someone who wishes to do them harm like this individual was reunited with their firearm and was able to wreak havoc and kill five people and wound six, it absolutely needs to be addressed,” said Rep. Schultz.

Islam always gets a pass when this happens. It's never the ideology that's blamed but instead it's stress at work, a scorned gay lover, a mental disorder and every other damn excuse.

I hope the lefties keep deflecting. It's all fun and games until you start paying the jizzyah. This is a religion that has been thoroughly exposed online... It's not like back in the days when Muslims could paint a flowery picture of their murderous sect.

It's all out there yet somehow it is so puzzling for the media.

I've read some of your past posts about Islam, you're highly knowledgeable and a genuinely fantastic source of information. +1

I used to argue this stuff on social media, and got called all sorts of names by old school-friends. "It's nothing to do with religion, it's because of land". "It's not Islam, it's poverty" etc....Now I don't bother. The best Muslims I know are the least religious ones, that's saying something - whereas devout Christians aren't doing this shit anywhere in the world. Therefore, there's intrinsic issues within the doctrine that need to be revised, edited out. But, we all know that's not going to happen anytime soon. Not as long as Saudi is so wealthy anyway.

I hope Trump abolishes the TSA. They are totally useless. They stop an 80 year old grandmother from bringing a toothpick on an airplane, but people are allowed to carry guns in their luggage and they can take it out at the baggage area and shoot away. This is such a huge loophole in security, that anyone who really cared about security wouldn't let this happen. Their "security" is just show to persuade you that your are safe when you really aren't, so they can collect a pay check. Typical government incompetency.

What are you suggesting? The area he picked his checked luggage up from is a non-secured area. Anyone with a gun could have walked in off the street with zero issues. He could have just as easily gone home, grabbed his gun, come back and started shooting people in the same location.

So, then what? Screen people as soon as they enter the airport? Then all you're doing is taking the undercover screening area and putting it outside. And then he just shoots people outside instead of inside.

Folks really need to get past the idea that this sort of thing can be fixed with more security. It just can't.

This is not a security issue. It's a lunatic issue and it's a male muslim issue.

This will not stop until they are locked up or deported.

Your own argument above is argument for abolishing the TSA. This is a bloated, useless agency that hasn't stopped a single act of violence it was created to stop.
It only succeeded in making your lives miserable and air travel unbearable.
One wonders that it was designed this way by globalists from the start--to increase government size, power and authority, and deprive you of taxes.

Intranational Flight security can now only be drawn down AFTER Mo's nutters are gone. I for one would not get on a plane with an unscreened Muslim.

Baggage should be the last secured area in a airport. The final portal to mix with regular non checked person's should be just after you claim baggage.

The end of TSA would not be the end of security screenings. No drawing down of security. Let the airports do their own security, as before, and work with FBI etc. Allow and encourage passengers to defend themselves, as on Flight 93. Put armed air marshals on flights.
All of the above would be an improvement over TSA. They are so tied down by political correctness that they fail to do anything. They always react to dangers instead of preventing them. All the would be attackers--shoe bomber, underwear bomber etc. were caught because of the efforts of the passengers who said something. Not TSA.

What corporation do you know of that isn't entirely beholden to political correctness and virtue signalling?

Any corporation still must please the customer. Airports have two--passengers and airlines. Any infraction by them would draw ire from two fronts.

TSA, being a government agency, is completely immune to criticism. Some airports tried to get rid of them a couple of years ago because they caused more trouble than they did good, but TSA unsurprisingly denied the effort.

Putting security into hands of airports and airlines would give them skin in the game. They would suffer consequences when shit hits the fan. TSA does not. They only go "sorry, we'll implement more regulations on you now, to prevent what just happened that will never occur again".

You clearly have more faith in crony capitalism than I do.

My experience tells me that corporations tow the government line. We might think that this is good now that Trump is in, but be certain that if he yanked the TSA then no matter how good the private security was there would suddenly be a string of hijackings and hundreds of deaths.

The TSA is a Bush/Obama abomination. The best Trump could do would be to make their presence optional, and even then I doubt any of the airports would go for it because not only would their insurance premiums go through the roof but their CEOs would be well aware that they would be the ones suffering those dramatic and inexplicable security breaches organised by the deep state.

Crony capitalism would mean they would receive funds from government a la GM. I'm talking about cooperation with law enforcement.

TSA is a sham. Anything would be better: TSA's 95% failure rate shows airport security is a charade.
The only way of making them better is to destroy the agency.

Whenever a pro-gun law is passed, libtards always go into the "blood in the streets!" meltdown. It never materializes.
Have faith. As I said above, a slew of would-be terrorists were neutralized by American public after 9/11. We are a pack, not a herd. Air marshals, and a public that's not afraid to speak will counter most threats. No dramatic and inexplicable security breaches.

Guns don't trump bombs at 30,000 feet. I still believe that if Trump moves against the TSA then the deep state will drop planes out of the sky and put his name in the mud.

It's just not a wise move at this point.

Agree to disagree, I guess.

My view is that with TSA's failure rate, getting rid of them and instituting private security again will improve security. No bombs.

How many hijackings and shootings inside of the terminals since the TSA came on scene?

I can only think of shootings that have happened on the non-secure side of the airport and I can't think of any hijackings.

On that basis nobody in society at large has reason to believe that the TSA has failed at anything. As far as most people are concerned the TSA may be an annoyance but no planes have fallen out of the sky or unexpectedly ended up in Libya.

I'm not saying I disagree with your ideas about the private sector getting better results than the public sector, but I maintain that messing with a zero-hijacking record at this point would be politically suicidal.

I gave several examples above of TSA missing would be terrorists who were stopped by passengers. Jihadis learned of this and changed tactics to attack on land.
People now have very low tolerance for anything extraordinary happening on flights.

No, it won't:
People hate the TSA right now, and a growing conspiracy theory shows how bad it's getting.
How much do we really hate the TSA?
This is EXACTLY Why TSA is The Most HATED Government Agency
Why I Hate the TSA (But Not All the Agents)
Confessions of a former TSA officer

The only reason they have a zero-hijacking record is because no one tried anything, for the reason above. otherwise TSA has no record to stand on: Acting TSA director reassigned after screeners failed tests to detect explosives, weapons

I stand by my assessment that abolishing TSA will improve the security.

In this instance I'm just going to concede this to you, Movsm.

I'm not an American and I don't live in America so I obviously don't have enough skin on the pulse regarding this issue.

TSA is kabuki theater.

When brining a laptop TSA insisted you turn on the computer and show a systems prompt. This was insisted prior to TSA but was emphasized more when TSA was brought on board.
In 2006, it was discovered terrorists in UK were trying to sneak in explosives via baby formula and toothpaste. TSA did a 180 on laptops (not necessary to turn on anymore) and insisted on confiscating toothpaste and baby formula. If you had to bring baby formula on board with a baby you had to drink the formula. This wasnt just the US (to my understanding you had that travelling in UK)

No profiling at all. Everyone is a potential enemy so you must prove you are not. Take a look instead at how the airline El Al has no hijackings, no issues with terrorists. FWIH there is formal discussion with you (no kabuki) and they watch how you act during and after that discussion.

They have a success rate of 5% but cost 7.55 billions to run annually, if any company had a budget of 7 billions annually but fail to sell a product of service efficiently 95% of that the time that company will just disappear, but because this is a government agency then it keeps sucking tax money.

I did my undergraduate economics thesis on the econometrics of airport security.

Without quoting directly from it (for privacy reasons) I can tell you that the research showed that out of all the airport security measures instituted prior to and post-9/11, there are only three that have had any real effectiveness in preventing both bombings and hijackings:
  • Hardening airplane cockpit doors;
  • Prohibiting unaccompanied baggage;
  • Teaching passengers to actively resist hijacking.
That's it. Everything else is essentially theatre - because terrorists always stay one step ahead of TSA guidelines.

There is no such thing as a terrorist. There is only the brainwashed idiot who is allowed to blow shit up by his enemy's intelligence agency.
