Unsulphured blackstrap molasses

Ive heard mixed reviews about the health benefits of this stuff. I tried it a few times taken as a tonic with a half teaspoon in water. After a few hours I feel super relaxed and chilled out like on valium or something

I have read others have negative reactions but mine seem okay. Its like a sedative or a relaxant for me. Gives me a sense of well being an hour or so after taking the tonic

Anybody else have thoughts ?

Interesting...I had never heard of this before so thanks for bringing it to my attention. I did a google search and apparently the Unsulphured blackstrap molasses are high in magnesium. Magneisum is known for having an anti-anxiety effect and promoting good sleep

The stuff is jam packed with a wide array of nutrients and minerals. I think the arguments over this comes from the diabetic crowd. It must screw with their health more because it is a form of pure sugar concentrate.

Try it out and let me know. Ive taken it a few times and it always calms me down significantly.

I used to enjoy a spoon of molasses mixed in milk. It has a pleasant taste somewhat like Ovaltine. Perhaps, depending on your diet, it would be better than mixing with water.
