Anecdotal: When I talk to people in New Hampshire, I tend to hear a lot of "I don't like Trump but there's no way I'm voting for Hillary." However, I haven't talked with a lot of college-educated females about the election, and supposedly that is the demographic Trump is losing compared to Romney.
The dislike for Trump seems to be more of a personal/personality nature, and not so political. That may save him.
Now, the narrative in the mainstream media is that Hillary is currently blowing Trump out based on the polls. They don't say anything at all about the oversampling of Democrats in those polls.
If the forum is correct, there will be a lot in the media after the election saying "how did we get it so wrong"?
If only you knew how bad things really are.

Is there any chance you think the made-up Clinton lead will stop a big Trump turnout? On the other hand, doesn't actually paradoxically help Trump in that most aren't that excited for Clinton, and it decreases the chance that any random person will go out and vote for her?

Given the next few years we will have most likely another major war and/or a major recession because all of the stimulus was like a sugar high to our economy. With that prediction, I tend to think that whoever is in office will be hated and marginalized as Herbert Hoover. Depending on the size of the war, you can get a Nevil Chamberlain effect. A worst case scenario is a civil war in which we will see the president being relegated to James Buchanan. Either way, I don't see how a president cant be damaged post election even if everything stays exactly the same for four years, given our current climate. With all of that in mind, I tend to think that Hillary will do everything to get elected and will succeed.
Honestly I hope that I am wrong. As a personal note, I intend to vote early for Trump. Partially because I am not a fan of Johnston, and partly because screwing with the establishment will be so much fun.

Perhaps I'm naive in still believing in the (true) American people, but I believe Mr. Trump still has a substantial chance of winning this thing.
There is a huge disconnect between what is being reported by the mainstream media and what is registering as "true" with the viewing public. I mean, how else can you explain the media's current approval rating of around 6% if people were still buying their bullshit hook, line and sinker?
The vast majority of polls are total horseshit. Mr. Trump has thousands of his supporters filling fucking sports stadiums, meanwhile Crooked Hillary is lucky if she can fill a junior high school gym before disappearing off the campaign trail for another week or two. The media acts like Trump has no support -- but the countless people attending his rallies would seem to suggest quite the opposite.
The only way Crooked can win is by cheating, which we all know she will try to do. Fortunately, between DC/WikiLeaks and Project Veritas, people will be looking for it. Besides, we all know Mr. Trump hasn't worked his ass off for the past year and a half to just quietly concede. He's in it to win it. If they try to steal it from him, I don't think the elites are anticipating the massive shit storm that will undoubtedly come their way.

Voted for Trump this morning in NC. We had lines the last two weekends that were hours long in most of the sites down in this area. One early voting location was four hours long here this morning. The first location was 2.5 hours and the one that I ended up at was an hour long. We are at 45% of the electorate voted as of yesterday, it is reported that more registered Republicans have early voted so far here. I tend to believe that it will be a close one in this state.
