Brothel Owner in Nevada Claims to Be a Feminist.

Quartz just ran an article on the Bunny Ranch Brothel in Carson City Nevada—another brave piece of investigative journalism by two female typists (Allison Shrager and Siyi Chen): http://qz.com/779415/moonlite-bunny-ranc...in-nevada/

The article is laced with interviews from the hookers who work there. As you can imagine, the rationalization hamster is strong in these gals.

“Nearly all the women we spoke to gushed about how much confidence they’ve gained working in the brothel.”

Funny, I know. [Image: wacko.gif]

At any rate, the part that caught my eye was an interview with the owner—a guy named Dennis Hof. Hof claims to be a feminist.

My favorite (or least favorite) quote: "I’m all about women’s rights. I’m about women doing better. I think it’s disgusting that women make 78% of what men do in the workforce. Except in this job where they’re making 300% or 400% of what men do because men in the sex business don’t make any money."

You can’t make this stuff up…

I agree. There is no higher femal empowerment than allowing women to monetize the goldmine between their legs.

I think he's a "feminist" because it's convenient, not because he actually believes any of that claptrap.

This just protects his business, ratings of his show, etc.

Think about this quote. A feminist hears "they're [his whores] make 300% or 400% of what men do" and she squeals in delight because this man is helping womyn everywhere smash the patriarchy. And they stop right there. But if you look at the rest of that statement "because men in the sex business don't make any money."

3 x $0 = $0.

The owner of the Bunny Ranch can pay his house-trained whores whatever he wants.

Fucking ridiculous. In what industry could the average man work 3-4 years, and earn enough money retire?
It's stupid how much money that woman make for doing what comes naturally to every person, every species on the planet.

The owner is in the business of selling poon. He has a history of stunts, too. I would pay absolutely no attention to his comments about feminism. This man has obviously fired hundreds of girls for hitting the wall and makes a massive, if not the predominant cut from his girls' earnings.

Carson City still has less hookers than Las Vegas, despite prostitution being illegal in the latter metro area. Hof just wants some of the Vegas money and wants a bigger profile to claim it. Like in politics, words uttered in the context of business mean diddly squat half the time. Just feel-good platitudes. It's like Adidas or Coca Cola pretending to care about alleviating poverty, except in the context of creating more consumers.

But... some of these girls are absolutely disgusting or worth nowhere near what they charge.

I used to watch and listen to Howard Stern. He's moderately red pill compared to so many other popular broadcasters. Bunny Ranch, via Howard Stern, arranged for a disabled Z-grade celebrity, Eric the Midget, to lose his virginity to two of its girls:

One of them had the most hideous tattoos you have ever seen. I'm sure Hof chose two of his best girls at the time and that's not a very flattering prospect based on the pair Eric got (though great for him).

I went in that Moonlite place when I was in the Navy. Its between Vegas and NAS Fallon.

That place was disgusting. I just sat and drank with some buddies and we got out of there. We went into a few others and it was the same.

The places are all fenced off like they are anticipating robbery. There's just an overall sense of filithiness there.

The girls were all busted to shit. At that age, I couldn't understand why anyone would have paid to fuck any of those girls. They really let you look them over, and it was easy to find major flaws with each one.

One trip I came real close to taking up a Latin girls offer. She was $350 for as many times as I could blow in an hour. She was on my lap in this little thing and had a really fit body. The problem was that she just had this maple syrupy smell about her that I'll never forget. I just couldn't do it.

Dennis knows the game. Depressed whores aren't productive. You feed them the "rah-rah girlpower" brand of feminism and they can disassociate themselves from the job they're doing and keep the ride going for a few years. Then they're so beat that they can't make money and get fired. Same with strippers. And almost all of them are blowing the money on drugs.

On a side note, ever see the girls at most of these ranches? Not exactly top of the food chain.

I did the whole lads' jaunts in Europe thing in my first three or so years of adulthood (only a handful of years ago). They were, for lack of a better phrase, genuine male-bonding experiences (without thankfully seeing each other in the act with the girls, either paid or non-paid from club and other meetings). Although I don't feel the need right now to ever partake with ladies of the night again, these travels were definite eye-openers. I was never heavily into drugs experimentation, so this was my short-lived vice in between the regular girls I met and slept with during my journeys.

In fact, in a weird way, we were playing with rudimentary aspects of game without realizing it, having not yet read Strauss' book or others like it. A bit like that character from The Game (Grimble?), we would see how low we could talk a 9 or 10 down to. And an hour or so later we'd be at a regular bar or club performing our own form of game towards fellow traveler girls. Basically harmless experimentation at a formative age.

Have never done any paid girl in the US and suspect I never will. The problem is a lack of decriminalization in the US, which drives up prices and seems to perversely result in worse-looking girls. When we did our lads' weeks in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris (prior to France's Nordic law legislation), the quality of the girls in the windows or elsewhere was not the haggish kind you associate with so many women of the night in the States. Far from it. Düsseldorf and Amsterdam had a lot of 9s and 10s, and you weren't paying anything close to the $300-500 I hear about in the States.

That said, no man in his right mind should ever pay for sex in a country where it is criminalized, especially when you see the anti-buyer madness in places like Scandinavia and now France (but also the more anti-prostitute US). Unless the guy has some sort of disability and is in the absolute doldrums concerning sexual contact, I have close to zero sympathy for anyone caught buying illegally. The experimentation in this regard is only worth it if it's legal.

I agree with Roosh's general disapproval (I forget from which video or article) of paying girls for sex. But if guys want to do it for a brief experience, let them. Particularly for pre-formal game guys like me, you just move on from it, maybe even after learning a thing or two as well.

You ever notice that if the topic is dating, sex, prostitution etc - it's typically a woman writing?

Sure it's what they're interested in, and men write the important stories - BUT - by focusing on these "unimportant" topics, frivolous things - they control the narrative.

It also passes for a pseudo-intellectual topic, letting women pretend that they are part of the “smart boy’s club.” Most men, unaware of female machinations, grant them the pussy pass. There was an excellent excerpt from Noam Chomsky on this.

I personally dont have an issue with legalizing prostitution. We have had Seeking Arrangement discussion in this forum and to me that is prostitution in another name (some may disagree but that is my opinion). Having it regulated by the government is fine with me. Of course, why pay money for something that you can get for free with just some game and self-improvement but thats another topic for another time.

I used to watch the HBO Series Cathouse. I havent had the luxury to go to Carson City and partake in the wide world of hoes so take my opinion with "whatyouseeontviswhatyouget"

Hof tries out the women that come through his doors. If he finds one he likes he dumps the hoe he is with and goes with the new one. The carousel rotates itself over and over. Some of his exes said he wanted them to change their hair color or deal with their drug problem and if they didnt "it didnt work out". He isnt a Feminist at all. To me he is a red pill without the requirement to do much game since hoes are easy. He monetizes the women who walk through his door. The women rent a spot (pay the house for the right to be a hoe) and thats how the house makes its money. The women are independent contractors.

Alot of those women are made for tv but it seems that a usual day a dirty hoe is still a dirty hoe. The women disrespect a lot of the men who come through the door so much they try and make as much money as they can without anything in return. Some slammed down 2000 an hour and one guy slammed down 10 grand for 2 women.

He and his "hoes" are for Hillary due to the benefits of Obamacare (according to them). And there is no demand for "government regulated male prostitutes" so he is full of shit.

He also has a foot in the door of the porn industry.

Difference between "window ho's" and "streetwalkers".
The streetwalkers have firmer asses, legs and calves from grinding down their high heels on the track all day.
Who want's to fuck a bitch that sits on her as all day waiting for a trick to trip on her?

R.I.P. Dennis Hof

Looks like he died the way he lived:

Quote:Quote:

Dennis Hof, the Nevada brothel owner and Republican candidate for state assembly, died Tuesday at one of his brothels after a birthday party, officials said. He was 72.

Hof, a candidate for the state Assembly in a district in southern Nevada, died in his sleep in the hours after a celebration that featured pornography star Ron Jeremy, former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio and anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, according to his campaign manager Chuck Muth.

The Nye County Sheriff’s office said Tuesday that it was investigating Hof’s death. He was found at the Love Ranch in Crystal Tuesday morning by Jeremy, who went to wake him for a meeting, police and Muth said.

“We had a wonderful event last night,” Muth told the Reno Gazette Journal. “He was having the time of his life.”

Hof’s attention-grabbing career caught perhaps its biggest break when HBO decided to broadcast a reality television show about one of his brothels, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nev.

Hof, along with many of his female employees, was a lively presence on the racy show, which regularly featured nude scenes as part of its behind-the-curtain peek at life and work at a brothel. The show began to air on the network in 2005 and was a regular feature of its “late-night” offerings for years, before the network axed its pornographic content earlier this year.

It was just one of many stints in the limelight for Hof, who had a knack for stunts that attracted wide media attention. He posted bail for Liberace’s former lover, Scott Thorson, in 2013, after Thorson took up residence at the Bunny Ranch. He hosted a “Get My Grandpa Laid" contest on the Howard Stern show that year as well, though the grandfather who won the contest died at a casino steakhouse after traveling to Nevada but before he made it to the brothel.

Hof called it “one of the saddest days in Bunny Ranch history."

“I’m always looking for a new angle and something funny to keep my name and the name of the Bunny Ranch in the national media," Hof told the Reno Gazette Journal in 2015.

He rode his fame to a successful candidacy on the Republican ticket for a state assembly seat after ousting the incumbent in the primary. But his foray into politics brought greater scrutiny to his businesses, one of which had its brothel license suspended earlier this year, as well as his background.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported earlier this year that multiple former prostitutes accused Hof of sexual assault earlier this year. The cases were never prosecuted. According to USA Today, Hof denied the allegations.

He won the Republican primary for the seat in June, crediting President Trump for his unusual candidacy.

“It’s all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me,” Hof said. “He found the way, and I jumped on it.”

Hof’s name will remain on the ballot for the upcoming election. If he is voted into office, the county commissions for the areas he would have represented will meet to select another Republican, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

His Democratic opponent, Las Vegas educator Lesia Romanov, told the newspaper she was stunned by his death.

“This is not anything that I would have ever guessed would happen,” she said. “My heart goes out to those who care about him. Just a crazy turn of events."
