Going on my first euro jaunt in Sept, need help!

Hi RVF

would really love to get some of your experienced euro jaunt & RVF folk top cast your eye on my selection of cities and see if you could suggest anything i might not have taken into account.

For example, i know many guys here make mention of not going to certain places when university students leave the city. I personally dont know which periods this occurs in and what cities it affects most.

TRAVELER'S BACKGROUND

- 2 single guy's (mid 30's, we're cousins so we have similar traits and characteristics)
- have reasonable game (i'm a seasoned daygamer, mate is a seasoned nightgamer)
- italian heritage (olive skin, dark features etc)
- both 6ft+ and in decent shape (hit the gym regularly / take care of our appearance)
- back home in melbourne, we consistently hover around the 7-7.5 range, occassional 8's from time to time.
- not afraid to spend a little money here and there (mainly on finding a decent pad thats in walking distance from key day/night spots)
- both 'thick skinned' chaps as a result of being born and raised in Melbourne, where so many girls are known strong bitch shields and give shit tests left and right.

(note: normally i wouldnt go into so much detail about appearance but ive noticed some of the tailored responses forum members tend to give. I appreciate that a response or piece of advice can differ depending on whether you are seasoned or starting out, or whether you are say a 5'5 bald fella who's just started in the gym, versus a 6'4 blonde haired, blue eye experienced gamer. etc)

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

- Arrive in Rome on Aug 31
- Depart from Prague on Oct 14

(my mate leave on Sept 30 as he has to return to work. I am staying an extra 2 weeks and intend on running some solo daygame in Ukraine and Russia. I will most likely fly out of Moscow to head back home).

CITIES

- Aug 31 - Sept 3: Rome
- Sept 3 - Sept 8: Dubrovnik
- Sept 8 - Sept 13: Split
- Sept 13 -Sept 17: Novalja
- Sept 17 - Sept 21: Belgrade
- Sept 21 -Sept 24: Budapest
- Sept 24 - Sept 30: Prague (friend leaves to go home)
- Sept 30 - Oct 3: Krakow
- Oct 3 - Oct 7: Kiev
- Oct 6 - Oct 10 : Riga
- Oct 10 - Oct 14 : Kiev

These are the places i have earmarked, nothing confirmed at this point. Would love to hear your thoughts on the above, to see if im on the right track.

Feel free to comment on this like:

- amount of cities / duration in each city (ie. "not enough time in 'budapest", "you dont need a week in Kiev" etc)
- coinciding with uni holidays (ie. i hear some cities become ghost towns and students head down to the coast)
- avoid or include certain cities (ie. i hear mixed reports about Bratislava so ive left it out of my jaunt)
- travel efficiency (ie. am i making it difficult for myself with how i have set this up logistically / wasting unnecessary time).

Thank you for taking the time to read my travel plans and im looking forward to some pearls of wisdom from some of your seasoned euro jaunt enthusiasts.

(ive attached a map of what my trip will most likely look like. Hopefully a visual helps.)

Nice trip! That's too much time in Dubrovnik. Have a backup plan in case you get sick of that super touristy city within 2 days.

Yeah that’s a good call. I’ll probably tweak that part based on your comment alone. Maybe less days in Dubrovnik.

Any other thoughts come to mind when you open the attachment and cast your eye over the map?

I’d strip out some days from Dubrovnik, shuffle the itinerary forward and add in Bratislava and Vienna in between Budapest and Prague

Your itinerary is fine, but very mainstream touristy. I guess that is ok if you want to focus mainly on tourist girls rather than locals, otherwise you might want to get off the beaten path for at least part of the trip. Alternatively spend more time in the least touristy destinations you've already picked, like Belgrade and Kiev. Just watch out for anyone referring to himself as "the King of Belgrade."

Seems like a fun trip, is the focus mainly game or is tourism a consideration as well? As you probably know from the forum already, in some of these destinations (Croatia, Serbia and Ukraine esp.) ONS or short term things with above-average-looking locals will be tricky. If you guys enjoy nightlife and do not mind tourists I think you will have more fun in Budapest, Prague and Krakow compared to Kiev for example.

Also, maybe a personal preference, but I would definitively do Tallinn or Vilnius instead of Riga. They are a little bit less destroyed by stag parties and mass tourism. If unis have started in Lithuania at that time I would recommend you to check out Kaunas as well, which is a bit of a student city, girls can often be more receptive in 2nd tier cities.

Finally since you are in the general area, as someone mentioned, you should probably check out Vienna as well. Not so much for the girls, but rather for all the heritage stuff. You only need a day or two to check it out.

Good question. It’s mainly game. If a city has good touristy stuff to do but is not great for game, then we’d be inclined to skip it. So best case scenario, it would have both, and worst case being it would just be good for game.

You will spend very little time in each city, so your possibilities are most likely limited to other tourists looking for action or Nightlife ONS.

As many said before, kick out Dubrovnik (1-2 nights max). Instead add Budva, Montenegro and Dürres, Albania to the list.

So you should go this way:
Rome -> Dürres -> Budva -> Dubrovnik(?) -> Split/Novalja

When in Belgrade you have the option to visit Timisoara, Rumania, a lovely student town. Romanians speak the best English in all of EE so it's worth a consideration.

Also you have 2x Kiev in your list. Kick one out to make room for the destinations I've mentioned. Doing both Novalja and Split is a bit redundant. It's two times the same thing, a Croatian party beach location.

Have fun, sounds like an action packed (and stressful) trip!

Thanks man, sound advice.

A couple of questions for you:

1. I certainly dont want to be stressed on this trip, so how long do you think I should spend in each city to give myself the best fighting chance of banging a local or two?

2. Do you know (or does anyone know) which of these cities (including the ones you mentioned Seminbaron [Dürres & Budva]), are ghost times during the month of September?

- I know Roosh says to avoid some parts of Eastern Europe due to the female exodus that occurs as a result of the summer holidays / uni break, especially cities that are inland.

Thank you again

1.) The days you need highly depend on you. It's impossible to judge. In my opinion, what you are doing is a scouting trip, which is cool. You will have a great time and bang some cute chicks, but be aware that you probably will leave some places empty handed. I mean, those girls you meet usually have things to do and don't fuck every stranger they met on the street. The time you choose for each location seems perfect for me. Adding another day or two would just prolong and slow down the trip. Instead you want to keep excitement level high and change places frequently to make this an adrenaline, sleep-dreprived trip. Just like you planned!

2.) The main vacation months in Europe are July & August. Beach locations will be bustling during that time, while inland places are like ghost cities. As you mostly travel in September, I think all places will be good. The weather is still perfect for the beach locations and people will be back in the cities latest by mid September.

Also check out my previous post again as I added a recommendation about a place in Romania.

It is not really a matter of time as in number or days. Like no girl will be like "Oh you are here for 4 days? Great I have this rule where I do not fuck guys who are in my city 3 days or less". No matter if you stay 3 or 13 days in a city you are still there "short-term", and this will exclude you from the hottest, and also most ruthless or "opportunistic", females in some of these countries. With that said many girls will have this idea not to sleep with someone on the first date. So 3-4 days in each city sounds smart, this means you can set up a second date (or even a third). I also second Timisoara, not far from Belgrade, a surprisingly beautiful student city.

I have not been to Albania or Montenegro but I have spent a lot of time in Serbia and Croatia. My experience if you just want notches the Balkans is really really tough, I've had much more success in big tourist cities like Prague or Budapest, or Poland and the Baltic nations.

Very true what you say. No matter if he stays 3 or 13 days, it's still "short-term". I think OP choose the right amount of time for each place so he can see various locations. They are all kind of different. As I said, it's likely going to be a scouting trip, which is totally cool.

Albania should be even thougher than Ex-Jugoslavia. I recommend it as it's exotic, naturally beautiful and has women you want to marry. So OP can come back in the future for wife hunting. Budva, Montenegro is the Split/Ibiza of the Russian and Serbian crowd. Will be tough of course, but quality and and parties are amazing. Top Hill is among the best nightclubs in the world. Timisoara, Rumania should be very well possible.

Most of the other locations are large capital cities. This adds the benefit of larger volumes and more Nightlife options, but girls aren't hanging out on the beach like let's say in Split and want to have fun. Don't know, I'm not an expert on all of these places, but it should definitely be fun to check them out.

In my experience the Montenegro coast is pretty quiet by September. Haven't been for a while, though.

I have a euro passport (dual italian / australian citizen), which means i can stay in ukraine and russia for up to 90 days. But otherwise, yes, one would need to apply for a visa.

For Ukraine, you are good.

You'd probably still need a visa for Russia. Worth double checking to be sure.

hmmm, thanks for the heads up. I will confirm. I was just going by what the travel agent said when i called them. They checked it while they were on the phone and said i was good to go for 90 days with an italian passport. But that now seems to conflict with some research ive done online.

ie.

Italy (up to 90 days) - Diplomatic passports holders only. Visa free regime applies for members of aircraft crews.

I'd say you better change your travel agent, because apparently they have no clue what they are talking about.

With a regular Italian or Australian passport you need to apply for a visa to enter Russia.

hey mate, it now looks like i will be in croatia from aug 16 - aug 28 (solo though, meeting my travel partner in lisbon on aug 28).

With that said, i would like to spend that time on croatia's coast.

Just need to know what the best way is to split this time. 4 night x 3 places?

Hvar -> Split -> Pag?

As mentioned, i would like beaches, beach clubs and women in bikini's (rare i know). Would i find all of this in each of the places equally, or should i just plant myself in one place for this 12 day period, due it to having a higher concentration of loose women?

Thanks !!

This is your first time traveling to Europe and you aren't going to swing through Florence? I know it's deemed as "touristy", but it would be stupid to miss in case you never get a chance to come back to Italy again. Besides, you'll want to at least be able to tell women you've been there when you're out gaming.
