Have you ever had a female roommate?

If so, I'm curious to see if a lot of what's talked about on here about scandalous women holds up with them.

I've had 2 female roommates, but both were really tame. The first was cute, but she worked full time and was going to school and so she didn't have much of a social life and no boyfriend. The other one was a big nerd, into reading and anime. She doesn't drink and would stay in on Friday and Saturday nights, going to bed by 11 or 12. No boyfriend, either.

However, a lot of stories I've read on these forums and articles I've read on ROK paint a majority of women as being slutty party animals who are always banging multiple guys and having triple-digit notch counts. But for those of you who lived with female roommates, were they constantly bringing different dudes home? Were they out every night of the week? What did they do on nights in? And do you believe that the wild party animal stereotype is the default mode for western women?

I have had a few they're all cool and i've hooked up with several of their girl friends. They all party every weekend but only one of them was super slutty though. I think in average maybe they've brought 1-2 guys each semester.

I have had a few.

They brought dudes home sometimes, but they weren't slutty party animals. Except this one girl. She would show up to my room in skimpy outfits and ask me (in vain) for cash before going out. At the time I suspected that this was simply her way of casually showing off her body to me. [Image: rolleyes.gif]

Generally the dudes they brought home were cool with me, and tried to make a good impression. For me, it was weird to see guys sexually pursue my roommates, when I mainly saw them as annoying people who didn't always clean up after themselves. The girls would generally meet a guy, talk about him for a few weeks, bring him home a three or four times, and then move on. Sometimes they would go out and not come back until the next afternoon.

99% of the time, they were way lamer than I expected. They watched a lot of Netflix. Also, hearing about their dating experiences made me realize how many guys take girls on lifeless dates.

Female roommates like to help you get girls. And sometimes they try to get with you.

No defaults. Women span so many cities and cultures that you can't really predict the script. But there are definitely some tendencies that Western culture permits and fosters. Not to mention, everyone has different facets. Most of my female roommates were wild party animals for 6 hours a week, but otherwise they were bland career-minded women.

Lived with guys and girls. Even hooked up with one girl for one evening. The ones with some work-life balance will be the most psychologically stable in my experience; that goes for almost anyone you know though.

One bird I lived with blatantly wanted me, but she never left the house. I eventually told her to get a life because the odd time she did go out, she'd drink and drive; otherwise just sit on the sofa with her cat! She'd also get sh!tty when I had other women round.

As a general rule, I'd not live with a woman again in a small house unless I already knew them very well; it just gets too awkward, especially if you have a rotation. Guys are generally fine, though the ideal is obviously to have your own place.

This is exactly the kind of thing I meant this thread to be about - Not how annoying females can be as roommates, but rather what did you learn about females and gender relations from them. I'd imagine it's a bit like being a fly on the wall, except you can usually talk to them about their dating/sexual exploits.

It's also interesting how you'd see your roommates in a certain light from living with them (When they're in "relaxation mode" and not "go out and impress people mode), so I definitely agree that it would be weird to wonder what guys see in the girls you encounter most of the time in sweatpants and baggy shirts, no makeup, etc. I also figured they spent way too much time watching Netflix. I've never dated a girl with a bookshelf in her room or any real hobbies, no matter how smart she was, most of their free time was spent on their phones or watching TV.

And that's cool that you got to see the other side of how a girl reacts to a dude she likes by talking about him a lot. Same with the boring dates. I've learned a bit about text game from having girls I know read me texts from their beta orbiters/wannabe suitors and seeing how viscerally it made them cringe. It's really common to see guys text more than the girl, text immediately after she responds, use smilies, and phrase their sentences like a business email ("Hello Tiffany, it was excellent meeting you the other day. If you're available Friday night, would you like to go get dinner and drinks? Please call me tonight after 7. Thanks!").
