I was going to say "some" or "most" but I think it's all,and not just in our society. And I'm not talking about 20-year-olds who are a 9 in looks and personality. Even the fat ugly ones think that just because they have a hole between their legs they're the greatest gift to mankind.

Is it because mothers are more involved in child rearing and favor girls? Do they get worshipped by beta fathers who never even had a girl say hello to them until they met their wives? Betas who put women on a pedestal?

Besides "why" -- "how" can this be changed?

Although I don't have a preset thought on this, i'll give it a quick shot:

Modernity has created more balance between the sexes in some ways, they aren't as reliant on men as they once were as regards resources, and thereby have more ability to choose who they have relationships with (more power of choice/selectivity).

On the other side of this is that men, now that they have less of a naturally available access to females due to the abovementioned modernity, have tended to pedestalize women which has served to boost womens' sense of importance.

Whereas the modern human species is around 180k years old, modern lifestyle is what, maybe 50 years old? And these later developments are maybe 15 or 20? Beneath the superficial sheen of modern life, humans are physically and psychologically equipped for an entirely different and more primitive method of living, through millions of years of genetic honing.

You asked how can it be changed? Here's the answer: dissolve agriculture, return to a hunter/gatherer lifestyle, and suddenly, you'll find women being much less stuck up, and men in general getting laid much more easily ...

On rare occasions one encounters attractive women who due to what you might call "situational reasons" have their selection pool vastly shrunk compared to the average Western girl. You might be surprised how sweet they can be when constrained...even an "8."

It's simply "rational choice theorem" - on the whole people don't often go out of their way to do things which don't provide short-term gain. A woman who's already hooking up with two guys and has three more waiting to hit it simply has no reason to be pleasant to randos, as she's getting everything she needs, and in fact might find the extra attention burdensome.

In the long run the girl who simply ignores you when you put your bid in because her pipeline is already full might in some sense be considered a "better" girl, as far as it goes, than a girl who chronically attention-seeks despite how many suitors she already has. The former is likely salvageable; there's perhaps some vague notion of "loyalty" there, and you can bet she'll do an about-face when the pipeline dries up, as surely as night follows day.

We live in a time where typically women get far more positive attention from a lot more people far more frequently than ever in the history of mankind. Women have been getting coddled and patted on the back for decades now, and they have more avenues than ever to seek and easily gain attention. As a society we have artificially increased to figurative "market price" of women even though the supply has not gone down and the quality has not gone up.

The "how to fix it" would be to somehow get the majority of all men to stop valuing pussy so highly and falling over themselves to give praise and validate women for doing nothing of value for them. From things as simple to stopping liking and commenting thirsty shit on their selfies they post on social media, to giving them undeserved benefits, subsidies, and leg-ups in law, government, academia, etc. Society-wide women need to be reprogrammed as well to understand that their career and their college degree does not make them sexy or valuable to men. This would be a multi-generational shift.

What can you do as an individual? Don't give women praise for nothing, also don't give them praise for things they should be doing. Suggest your comrades do the same.

Because in Western societies, women have never had it easier in life.

And it's not only because of attention they receive from thirsty men. Parental upbringing and lack of peer pressure from society play an important role as well. In modern feminized families, young girls are raised as special snowflakes. From early childhood they're being told they're special, unique, wonderful, and that all what matters is that they're happy. When they reach puberty and realize they are a highly sought commodity, it's only natural for them to become stuck up. Who wouldn't be?

She can do that, and many other things, simply because she can. Her parents probably encourage such irresponsible behavior, her peers laud it, and in case of bad stuff happening due to her poor decision-making skills - such as unwanted pregnancy, STDs, alcohol-induced coma - there's always the welfare state to provide support.

If she were born, say, 150 years ago, as soon as she hit puberty her mother and grandmother would have explained to her in no uncertain terms what could happen if she doesn't find a good husband and get married as soon as possible.
