Maybe some of you Canadian folks are aware of whats going on with the Humorist Mike Ward. He is know for doing dark humor. Like many other humorist he jokes about famous people. A while ago he did a joke about a handicap kid in one of his shows. The handicap kid who is known for horribly singing for the pope and for Celine Dion (i have no idea why they would make him sing except for the LOLs) and mostly his mother went after Mike Ward (obviously to try to get a big paycheck).

Now its nothing new that humorists drops jokes about famous peoples. So how are these jokes any different? A couple of days ago he lost the case and was ordered to pay 35 000$ to the kid AND 7000$ to his mother. Plus this whole thing costed him more then 90 000$ in lawyers. Now to try and defend free speech for him and for every Canadian humorist he is going to appeal and if he still loses he will go to the supreme court.

This whole story is crazy and disgusting and reminds me of how Canada is becoming a shit hole. Mike Ward created a go fund page and in only 1 day got over 25 000$ in donation (goal is 93 000$). Now i was thinking about doing a couple of small donation on the go fund page with the comment: #Free Speech Isn’t Free (or something similar) to get some attentions towards Roosh recent book. If its a bad idea of if you have a better # to propose let me know.

When I've been to Montreal in warm weather it's an awesome city. Winters are brutal but the people appreciate the summer that much more.

That's an excellent question. I was recently in Vancouver and found it lovely. People were ridiculously friendly and compared to where I live, I even found the traffic in Mississauga quite pleasant.

I'll be staying where I am. Unlike in Canada, there are actually jobs for me here in Beijing. China has its problems, but at least I don't have to face the extreme silliness that's going on in my hometown.

Many people flee their home countries due to war, human rights violations, etc, so to them Canada is considered a paradise because these refugees are told that they are allowed to retain their home country's traditions while living in a supposedly First World "democracy".

Many men claim that when they tell someone how they want to leave Canada, they are treated like if they are planning to commit a crime...but if an overpaid feministe .gov worker wants to travel to the Caribbean and Africa to find some underaged boy to drill her in her bumhole, the chants of "You Go Girl" prevail from the society, with the Canadian government ready to exercise their power if the Canadian woman claims that the underaged boy waped her because she regretted having sex with him the next day.

If it was noticed, it was the boy's mother who filed a motion against the comedian. I doubt that if a male family member lodged the complaint that he would have been successful to be awarded damages.

That's feministe Canada for ya! Good for feministe women, gays, lesbos, slackers, children...but bad for working age heterosexual men who wanna get laid with cute chicks without hassle and persecution.

I don't think that Canada is entirely fucked, not yet anyway, you can still criticize things like immigration policy without the Mounties showing up at your door and fining you. The CHRC kangaroo courts are definitely a blight on our freedoms and I wasn't too impressed that Harper didn't do much about them while he had a majority government. One good thing that the Tories did achieve was to kill the Court Challenges Program but unfortunately, it looks like Trudeau may be bringing it back. We really need a strong Conservative leader to challenge Trudeau in the next election, I don't know who it could be but we need someone with mass appeal.

It's easy to be deceived that Canadians are similar to Americans or a watered-down version of them but I'd say we're closer to being Scandinavians north of the border...the worst stereotypes of that culture (introverted/low social drive, awkward...) and wasp culture (prudish, etc).
