So, I'm here in Indonesia and have planned on hiking Rinjani (3,726 m) for a while.

I finally booked my tickets and went onto Couchsurfing site to check out if there are any other travellers going to Lombok at the same time as me.

I send a few messages and this one girl (Filipino) responds positive and suggests i join with her.

So we chat together with the guide (3 way chat on WA)- discussing logistics, timings etc.. And then he drops that the first night will be in a hotel room. The girl asks for confirmation that it is a room with twin-bed. Yes it is.

It's a group 4-8 people and 2 people per tent. I'm hoping something will happen with this girl as she is quite hot - but i also want to be careful i don't scare her off - seen as i'll be stuck with her for 3 days...

My usual game is tinder- coffee meet and back to mine.

This hiking trip is new for me and also with a girl who is not necessarily looking for a hookup (met her off CS)

Any advice would be great.

I think couchsurfing has a more platonic vibe. Chicks there, in my experience, expect guys to not hit on them because it's not really the point of CS. I'd say its a risky gamble.

You probably won't be getting her liquored up night before a long hike starts, and she probably won't want to show up to a group of strangers acting intimate with a guy she just met - "Where are you guys from?" "Oh we just met last night" as you squeeze her ass... Take it slow and calibrate escalation on the conservative side if you want to enjoy a non-awkward trip, but you might get some in the tent day 2 or day 3. I've gone on a couple first date hikes and banged after but never in a group for more than a single day, and I think alcohol was involved.

Great advice.

You get 3-4 days to enjoy the hike, the scenery, no technology, socializing with new people, and building rapport and attraction with this hot Filipina chick.

Make sure to hike in front of her some and flex your calves and take your shirt off and go swimming in the lakes/waterfalls (Hopefully you have prepared ahead of time for this and are shredded). Help start the fire at dinner time. Don't be a bitch if a snake or scorpion or whatever critters they have in Indonesia creep up on your campsite.

Go be a man in the woods and she will be dripping wet by the end of the trip. Then everyone gets hotels/airbnbs, takes showers, goes to dinner, gets drinks, and you are looking at a layup.

This is the approach I took a few years back on a Grand Canyon backpacking trip and it worked perfectly. Once we got to the bar in Sedona I isolated one of the hiker chicks, we were making out by the second drink and snuck off to bang under the stars within the hour, zero LMR.

Now if this hot Filipina wants to suck your cock on a side trail or ride you under the waterfall or on top of the mountain then you know what to do. For some reason chicks get horny in nature, at least on day hikes I have been on I have noticed this. Otherwise I'd save the banging until the end of the trip when she has showered and shaved.

After typing all of that, I really want to fuck an Asian girl in a lake or on a mountain top. Have fun and flirt with her, if you guys are vibing then escalate and try to get the nature notch. There are so many places to bang outdoors... side trails, behind a rock, on top of a rock, in the water, next to the water, in your tent, on the picnic table while everyone else is sleeping....

You should definitely try and escalate on day one of the hike. You can always back off and recalibrate if needed. But you might end up fucking this nice little brown piece of ass all over that god damn mountain and have some great memories and stories.

Is it necessary to flip out if you bang her on the first night and things get weird?

If you bring a single tent then you could just double-time it ahead of the party and enjoy the afterglow by yourself in the great outdoors.

If you bring small, basic double tent then she might even be persuaded to go ahead WITH you.

Hard to say without knowing the group dynamics. My two cents is this. Give yourself some options and go for the notch. It may even work out WAY better then you expected, and worse case scenario it gets weird, you press ahead and bail at the next exit.
