Women wearing fake wedding rings

I notice this, girls who work at grocery stores and wear fake wedding rings. So I compliment them, "beautiful wedding ring!". Then they play along with it by lying about having a husband, I presume. Then I follow it with "he must make tons of money", "look at those diamonds sparkling, wow!", and "what kind of job does he have?". They go on and on with more lies.

I've done this with at least a dozen girls now and every single one of them plays along with the same exact lie. They're at work too and of course they would justify wearing the fake wedding ring as a way of detering men away from them. For whatever reason they have, what I gather from this investigation is that women who wear fake wedding rings are massive cheaters, and usually unattractive, and if she ever does get married her new hobby is just cheating on him regularly.

Another day in America, carry on...

How do you know they are fake wedding rings?

A) How do you know they're fake?

B) This isn't new. I knew girls in grad school who did that. They didn't want to be hit on every five minutes.

Nowadays that happens when I go salsa. Before, if I saw a ring on her finger, I wouldn't even bother flirting. Then one time, dancing with a girl who had a huge rock on her finger, I made a dumb joke it about the thing blinding me with its brightness and how her husband must be loaded. "Oh, I'm not married. I just like how this looks." *stupid smile at me*

You don't fucking say?

Yeah.. some real nonsense to come up with some stupid-ass story in which supposedly a dozen girls have the same exact story... must live either in a fantasy world or shopping in a world of robots.

Samanguru: I think their rings are mostly fake because if the diamonds were real they would be $100K+ pieces of brand new jewelry. It seems out of place for minimum wage slaves to wear that kind of jewelry. Generally if her husband can afford something like that she would at least be working as a cashier at a swankier grocery market - not a corporate big box store. Also, I just do not think the girls have a married vibe. They have that uptight suburbanite, narrow, and irrational fear of some single men, kind of vibe. In other words they only date Chad's. And I just think some are fakers and their attitudes correlate with that.

One girl mentioned to me that the ring was passed down from grandparents, which was believable because it looked antique, but I still think she was faking marriage. That was at a grocery store owned by Amish but staffed by regular plain Janes and Chad's. These girls do not have a very cool vibe at all.

At Whole Foods I do not see cashiers flaunting the fake wedding rings. At Whole Foods they do not wear uniforms. So they get to dress in fitted hipsterish clothes. Thus, the Whole Foods girls dress in a manner that they are allowed to use more sexualized clothing for waiting for rich Sugar Daddies to ask them out...

I dated a Whole Foods girl. I met her in the store where we flirted a couple times. I waited to ask her out outside the store on her smoke break.

Hope it does not upset you guys too much more, but I have pointed the big flashy ring out with about a dozen girls. I must be older then some of you guys.

I am in no way saying that I am some ultra suave player who games girls at a million miles per hour. I live in a stuck up suburb not a fast paced big city. I am just myself, not putting on an act.

To turn a bullshit post into a good one, how do you use this for an opener?

Confirmed, I knew a few girls who used to do this, in order to deter betas from hitting on them.

Hahahahahaha

I believe that OP has not even come close to achieving this objective, but it remains an interesting idea, and I am sure that there are some real life examples of this in the wild.

Is this an attempted defense of OP?

Just the opposite. Sorry that wasn't clear.

I first learned of this back in 2008, when a girl from Oakland was rocking this ring, while attending school in SoCal back then.

Well, the first one that comes to mind is "nice diamond, is it real?" [Image: icon_razz.gif]

On another level, I'm noticing many girls and a couple of guys wearing rings on the thumb, does that mean anything special?

When girls with fake wedding rings make a point of flashing it in my face that does not make me "beta". It just means she is not into me and/or she forgot to take off the ring before checking me out.

Here is an identification key:

Girls who wear one wedding ring = married, fake married, or other reasons
Girls who wear thumb rings = she likes anal
Girls who wear multiple rings = slutty, and fun, and likes anal
Guys who wear thumb rings = gay
Guys who wear multiple rings = gay, but not in the case of some hard partying musicians
Guys who wear one ring = married and/or straight and single

For myself I used to wear a mood ring on my wedding ring finger. It was a sharp looking ring for just $2 and women noticed it.

I used to wear a cheap h&m metal ring on my pointer finger because I liked how it looked and I never saw anyone else doing it. I got attention. And for some reason people thought I was engaged due to the way it looked, even though it wasn't on my ring finger. I'd like to start wearing men's jewelry again. It's just a pain looking for shit when it falls behind the couch or something.

For men I think ring finger only. Unless the guy parties a lot, or is strung out on heavy drugs, also if they are in hard partying bands. Otherwise just the ring finger.

Another thing is that women who wear lots of rings usually have lots of pills. They are the types who show you their whole medicine cabinet first time you go in their apartment. They also like being groupies for hard partying bands.
