Side question. The subtitle is "How 90 Men Stood Up Against The Establishment And Won". What does WON actually mean? How did they win? I didn't follow the news.

An entire country was going nuts trying to prevent a few men from having a peaceful meeting.

They had their meeting.

Free Speech Isn't Free review thread

I wanted to share my review, posted today at my books blog (Here: http://masculinebooks.com/2016/06/13/fre...e-roosh-v/) . The review was altered a bit, with me taking out some quotes and sales pitches.

***

I slowly tip-toed my way into the lobby of the W hotel. I made sure to not idle in case I was spotted by a mob of SJW’s out to blow my cover. Eventually, I peeked my head into a doorway and noticed Roosh darting around the room.

The conference room started to slowly fill up. Men were chatting about the lecture, books they read, DC (and how much it sucked) among other topics. Although not the most loquacious person, I introduced myself to and chatted with a few reputable members of the RVF community like GMac and Tokyo Joe.

The lecture went off without a hitch. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the content, but Roosh mixed in a variety of his thoughts on game, the West, its women among related topics you’d see on his blog.

After the Q&A session we went up to the rooftop bar. It’s a spectacular view, and the vibe was great. I hooked a couple sets, talked to some other men, and overall had a great time.

I could never have imagined such profound outrage and hatred would stem from this event.
O’ Canada!

Though Roosh already had plenty of material the left could attack, SJW’s got a hold of Roosh’s ‘How to Stop Rape’ article. This allowed them to ‘definitively’ claim that Roosh was indeed a rapist and advocated raping others. Surely, few, if any of them actually read it, but it fit the narrative and thus Roosh had to be stopped at all costs.

In Free Speech Isn’t Free Roosh gives his first-hand account of this mob action. Though I followed the events of his time in Canada, I had no idea the degree to which he went to keep him and his supporters safe:

•Roosh had daily disinformation campaigns.
•He had informants feeding him information from inside the SJW community.
•Bodyguards protected him in Toronto.
•He utilized networks of operatives like he was the President conducting a national security operation.

Not to mention he spent many thousands of dollars to keep himself alive, and his business afloat.

The action of the far-left is truly heinous. Their actions know no bounds. But why?

Why are these SJW’s driven to such insanity over a misconstrued article?

The Puppet Masters

As someone who experienced the radical mob firsthand, Roosh had no choice but to delve into why there was such a fervor over his writings. After having a conversation with Jeff, a man who attended the DC lecture, the concept of government control and depopulation was planted in Roosh’s mind. It all started to come together.

As Roosh points out, all the policies which the left endorses contribute to a reduction in population:

•Promoting the LGBT culture
•Attacking straight (white) men
•Making access to birth control easier among others
•Mocking Christianity

The most stark example was from Berlin. There was a gay pride parade going on in the streets, with disgusting and lewd acts in public. Meanwhile Roosh and his followers had to hide in fear in a hotel to talk about sex and dating. Something insidious is controlling and pushing this narrative.

At all costs, this narrative must be maintained. It’s why the media went into high gear to pump out propaganda denouncing Roosh.
Politicians even came out and denounced Roosh:

Again, surely these politicians didn’t actually read any of Roosh’s work. They just felt compelled to further the narrative. And if they had tried to defend Roosh they’d become a victim of the mob as well.

The media and politicians worked together in Canada, as they do here. They enabled their citizens to roam the streets with torches and pitchforks, with no regard for the safety of Roosh.

And for what?

It was because Roosh was allegedly a ‘Rape Enthusiast’. How on Earth anyone could believe that a rape advocate has many thousands of followers is beyond me. It’s clear that the social justice mafia has no intention of doing their research, let alone stopping to think about what they’re yelling.

The left doesn’t operate on logic. They operate on emotion. And though liberals claim their views stem from an altruistic nature, it has become abundantly clear over the years that the left is truly driven by hate, anger, jealousy and most frighteningly the desire to control all thought.

Free Speech Truly is Not Free

Too often we take the concept of free speech for granted. We crack jokes and post offensive comments online without really thinking twice about our freedom to do so (for now). But as we see with Roosh’s case, there could have been legal action taken against him.

In the USA we can still make crass and offensive remarks without threat of legal action, but we are not entirely off the hook. Instead of the government attacking us directly, we are subject to mob violence. Roosh’s family was threatened because of his writings and speech. Anonymous individuals threatened to burn their house down because ‘muh patriarchy’.

What True Brotherhood Looks Like

The lengths to which other men were willing to aid and stand up for Roosh was profound and admirable. It’s something all men should take to heart. Although Roosh did much of the grunt work on his own, his dedicated band of followers was able to implement maneuvers as means of disrupting SJW communication.

What really stood out to me was that SJW’s are incapable of doing the same. They don’t care about each other. They have no concept of loyalty, and if one of their own gets picked off, they’ll cry foul, but then move on.

The SJW mob is weak. Their true power, when measured individually, is quite laughable. As Roosh routinely mocks: Tens of thousands of Canadian SJW’s, aided by parliamentarians and mayors, could not stop Roosh from giving his happy hour speech.

SJW’s hide behind the façade of the internet. They leverage government institutions at those who toe the line. They’ll phone up someone’s employer, or ‘doxx’ their personal information just because someone said something mean.

Another takeaway from the book is that Roosh showed the power of having your own platform. He was able to run multiple articles via Return of Kings that put the hurt on Canadian SJW’s.

Take Aurelie Nix. After she levelled false accusations at Roosh, he struck back with ROK. Contributor David Garrett Brown wrote the article: ‘Canadian Aurelie Nix Falsely Accuses Roosh Of A Rape Threat With Help From Journalist Emily Campbell.’ Her transgressions will now follow her through the eternity of the digital age as that ROK article sits atop Google for her name. It’s clear that leftist governments will do nothing to punish those like Ms. Nix, but today we can fight back with the power of the internet.

A Shift in Mindset

You may have noticed Roosh’s blog writings have evolved from ‘Game’ to focusing more on Western civilization, religion, gender roles, globalization among other topics. You can clearly see why in the book.

This is the path I find myself going down too. It seems a natural step after becoming disillusioned with Western society.

Additionally, it’s questionable whether Roosh would have gone through with all this if he was still entrenched in a nihilistic and hedonistic worldview. I doubt it. When pussy is put on the ultimate pedestal, why sacrifice your time, money and well-being to promote an ideology?

There are often references that Roosh and others make that suggest there was some sort of divine intervention in all this—one that guided Roosh through the chaos in order to help him usher in some larger goal. I think they may well be on to something.

I finished the book about 3 hours ago and I have had some time to think on the story and ideas presented. I was captivated enough I could not let the book wait until I got off work to finish it. Thank you kindle app.

I followed the events of the lecture tour closely on the forum when they were happening, so the narrative of the book was like reliving the events with a new clarity that only hindsight and Roosh's point of view could provide. Roosh's insights into his personal development through the course of the book demonstrated a section of the neomasculine ideals as well as the definitive article on neomasculinity did as he grew in real-time with his adversity.

The moments when Roosh revealed his private conversations with some of the forum members were inspirational - a reminder that true men of character exist outside the internet. The conversations with Mark from NY especially resonated with me, as I have been reading through the ESV Study Bible during my morning light box routine. I'm fairly certain I can identify who Mark is on the forum and that I have already repped him, and I would give him more rep if it was possible or if I'm mistaken about who he is. Tipu deserves every bit of respect and good will his actions engendered too.

The chapters on Montreal and Toronto paint a grim picture of Canada. It truly seems like an Orwellian nightmare to someone who is awake to the reality of their social engineering.

I appreciated all the extras on the end as well. I did not realize I would receive those when I pre-ordered.

Disclaimer: this isn't a full review but more of a "first impressions" post, as I'm not actually done the book. I will be following up these initial impressions up with a full review when I'm finished.

At the time of this writing, my Kindle tells me I'm 30% of the way through Free Speech Isn't Free.

Here are my impressions.
  • In case somebody totally new to the forum is here, I'll include a word on the topic:

Free Speech Isn't Free is Roosh's play by play description of the Canadian media firestorm surrounding his speech there in August of 2015.

Roosh had been planning on holding a speech for men in Canada, similar to ones he'd held in Berlin, New York and D.C. Much to Roosh's surprise, his arrival in Canada was met with calls for him to be banned from the country, boycotted, and even criminally prosecuted.

The book (up to the point that I've read) is a play-by-play of what happened, including an overview of the events that you may have already read about, as well as some 'behind the scenes stuff' that you've likely never heard. Again I have to stress: I'm only about a third of the way through the book. I expect Roosh to cover a lot of ground I haven't yet mentioned as I'm already nearing the Chronological end of the story. According to the table of contents, there will be extensive appendices on subjects such as "how to survive an SJW attack" and "What is Neomasculinity?"
  • General impressions on quality, writing style, etc

So far, this strikes me as Roosh's best book by an enormous margin, and in virtually every way. The writing is better than anything I've ever seen Roosh put out. The subject matter is more serious than ever before. The sense of narrative is palpable; at times you feel like you're there with Roosh organizing meetings and counter-operations and such.

The book is fast paced and extremely readable. There's never a dull moment; while this is partially due to the subject matter, Roosh's writing also helps create a fast-paced, suspense-filled story, even if you already know what happened.
  • Value
The book is a very good value for the price. You pay about 7 bucks on Amazon and you get a nice-sized book, with tons of supplementary material. I'd recommend buying the version on Roosh's site with the bonuses and such because it's the same price and contains more, but even on Amazon it's a good value.

I have bought, and read the book last night, until dawn/

In short, I absolutely did not regret spending my money. It is really a good read, and I suggest anyone who did not buy yet to do so.

Now, since there will be a wall of text coming from my side, I'll try to break my thought into sections:

Are We Truly Free in Our Society

We are constantly being reminded 24/7 that we live in a free society, where our right to free speech and opinion are granted by law. Also, we are constantly reminded that in many countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Russia...such things do not exist.

After reading this book, my belief (a sentiment which many of you share, I have no doubt) that people in the West are living in a society which is not truly free, was reinforced. Unlike in China, Iran, where the State prohibits you from speaking freely, in the West...it's us, the society, that prevents it (in order not to hurt feelings of a small group of freaks). A society that prevents and persecutes people for their right to free speech will vote a government that will outlaw it one day eventually.

Mike Cernovich is currently, at the time of this writing, filing a documentary which speaks just about that issue, caled "Silenced". The main premise of that documentary is that people are silencing themselves. In order to better understand the book, it would certainly be a good idea to watch it once it is out.

Purpose

The purpose of many people, unfortunately, is to finish a mediocre school and get a mediocre degree, to get a mediocre girl who fucked just 565775 partners in her prime and is meeting Mr. Wall soon, likely getting divorced, and die.

In his conversation with Mark ( by the looks of it, a devout Christian), it can be seen that Roosh has been given a special purpose by some divine being - to give men an ideology - Neomasculinity, which will give men strength to find and better themselves, from which they were robbed. A good example of that is a guy whose nickname i cannot remember (and whom in the book was Roosh's right hand, basically, during the Battle). During one of the speeches, he went emotional (like 90% of us would), and thanked Roosh for everything he and his teachings have done to him. If he did not meet him, who knows what would happen to him.

I also would not be where I am without Neomasculinity an it's affiliates (I will not be mentioning names, way too many good authors). I would not own my own my own online empire (which is growing much faster that I have anticipated). I would not have several projects (with small investment, and yuuuge returns) in the making. I would not be with nice women.

Without it, I would probably be a MGTOW or something (not a VirginTOW, like Cappy likes to call most of them, which is true).

Can I Learn Something Useful from this Book

Although this book is foundamentally different than Bang, a causual reader, a well as a forum member, can learn some useful things, when he can apply in his life. Some of them are:

1. You are getting sane in a very sick and twisted wold, where right is wrong, and vice versa. You are not alone. Many men, of all races, religions, and cultures are waking up, and one day, whether is tomorrow, or 10 years, we will reclaim what is rightfully ours.

2. SJW freaks (which hold the entire society as a hostage) will throw anything at you, in order to make you submit to their sick ideology. Fight them and do not submit to them, because you are not alone.

Gamergate was a win because we normal people choose to fight, instead of submission.

The Battle of Canada was a win because masculine men choosev fight, instead of submission.

Trump will win because he wants to fight and not submit.

We will win because we fight and do not want to submit.

TLDR - worth a read, buy it.

A bit late, I'll admit, but I've been stupidly busy with work and the band!

"Free Speech Isn't Free- a review by Guitarman"/

Roosh's new book did not disappoint! Considering the way Roosh and the “rape” ROK article were misrepresented in the global media, Roosh needed to write this book to put his side of events and his viewpoints across. The book starts with a forward by ROK author and Forum member Quintus Curtius. Quintus starts by explaining the importance of Roosh's book which came out of the experiences Roosh had in the 2015 lecture tour. Quintus discusses the modern idea of progress, referencing ancient Greek culture which embraced cyclical thought rather than progressive thought and went on to say that modern progressiveness is not progressive at all and that free speech and freedom to publish is being actively limited by the 1% elite using political correctness as a weapon.

Roosh starts by explaining how he came up with the idea for the speaking tour. It was very interesting to learn some more details about Roosh. For example when younger, that he struggled with public speaking due to a stutter, but turned this weakness into a strength by deliberately taking steps, including instruction, to improve his public speaking. Surely another lesson in self improvement! The book then goes on to give a flavour of the sheer amount of work involved in preparing the speech, preparing himself for the events and in setting up each event. It also seems apparent from the discussion of expenses incurred that the tour itself only broke even, if that.

Chapter two deals with the Berlin talk, which went well, despite the presence of a fat feminist writer and an SJW male companion who later wrote a “rape advocate” hit piece. Roosh even encountered a Gay parade on the way to the venue and incorporated that into the speech.

Chapter three deals with the London speech which is notable because Roosh admits making a couple of mistakes. First of all, allowing the BBC to cover the event. As a Brit, I'm surprised that Roosh did not know the true nature of the BBC as a liberal left propaganda tool of the establishment. It should not be a surprise to any Brit that Reggie Yeats and his crew would make a hit piece program on Roosh. Plus the female “writer” that Roosh employed as an assistant for the event turned out to be a back stabbing radical feminist. The value of Roosh's “mistakes” highlights the nature of the corrupt media and dishonesty and bad attitude of the modern feminist woman.

It is at chapter four and the Washington DC speech that this book steps up a few gears and reaches an entirely new level of importance. Roosh's conversation with “Jeff” about the elite and how they are controlling the people of the west via limiting population growth through feminism, rape culture and other liberal left propaganda means. This is a bombshell and indeed as Roosh says links all the themes that Roosh covers on ROK and in this book. This stunning chapter lifts the veil of the Matrix that has been imposed on us all. Truly a red pill or blue pill moment. Jeff needs to write a few books or at least ROK articles.

Chapter five is equally profound. After the “stand up” comedy style of the New York speech, Roosh covers, homosexual degeneracy and the Christian religion, which is also under attack from the liberal left elites, and the relationship between religion and science. A very interesting conversation ensues, this time with “Mark”, on his conversion to orthodox christianity.

Chapter six is where things hot up for Roosh's speaking tour. Roosh becomes aware that the story of his visit and speeches in Canada has become the top news story after an SJW petition to ban him from Canada goes viral and is picked up by the media. Roosh enters Canada with no incident and is aware of the SJW fuelled “rape advocate” media coverage. Roosh then details how he had to find an alternate venue after the hotel he had booked was threatened with an SJW protest and had to cancel the original hotel conference room. Roosh also details the various disinformation operations which successfully confused and limited the actions of the protestors. The tension builds in this chapter subterfuge is employed to ensure that the real venue (a Greek restaurant) is not exposed. The talk goes well and the venue was actually cheaper and better suited to the talk than a hotel conference room would have been. Roosh then goes on to detail the events that led up to the “beer throwing”, the only causalty of which was his wig. Roosh and his men won against the corrupt Canadian media and against the hordes of stupid SJW's that were combing the city following planted false lead after false lead as to where the venue was.

In “The Journey Home” chapter Roosh reflects on the tour, especially the events that occurred in the Canadian venues and likens his experience of the attempt to silence his free speech by Canadian feminist protestors with the modern issue of the curtailment of free speech in general for the modern masculine man at the expense of “political correctness”, left wing views and radical feminism.

In the following apendices, Roosh goes on to cover the meet-ups, the tactics used to distract radical feminists and finally the press conference that he held to put his side of the story across as well as to take the heat off his parents in Washington DC who were being hounded by the press after his parent's address was revealed.

Conclusion- Roosh starts off the book in his usual analytical, matter of fact, scientific style, which being a former professional scientist myself, I can relate to this and enjoy the style. After all, that is how Roosh was taught to write. However, by the end of the book, as Roosh pulls together all the threads and connects political correctness, the overwhelming power of the mass media, combined with the gullibility of the bulk of the population, misrepresentation by the media and the resultant oppression by SJW's and even politicians. Bringing all these threads together, Roosh has made a huge step up in his writing. This is no pickup or dating guide. With this book, Roosh does no less than establish himself as a modern masculine rights George Orwell. As Orwell warned us of oppression and the power of the media to control the population, so does Roosh to great effect. Truly a ground breaking publication for Roosh. A huge step up in his writing creativity.

Free Speech Isn't Free review thread

Bought the PDF on Monday, but I only finished reading it a few hours ago. My "review" (more a collection of thoughts) is pretty brief, but I definitely enjoyed the book. Here goes:

I was really impressed. I've read a ton of the blog and RoK, but the only Roosh books I've read before this are Bang and Day Bang. I actually learned about Roosh and RoK from people melting down over the meetups on Twitter. I started reading just to see what he actually said, and it helped put words to a feeling I've had for a while, about some of my old friends who've bought into the social justice movement. So I am new, but I was excited for the book.

It's clear that Roosh was operating under an intense amount of stress both in Canada and then in early February during the meetup outrage. But he handled it much better than most of us could. I was incredibly impressed with the calm recounting of the events of most of the second half of the book.

While reading about the action, so to speak, was thrilling (knowing as we do now that he's safe), I did not find it to be the main lesson of the book. My major take-away from it is that strong friendships are invaluable. Roosh has come as far as he has, and has come out as safe as he has, because he built up a network of strong, like-minded men. If I ever meet Tipu or Quintus Curtius, they each get a few drinks on me.

The appendix on how to survive an SJW attack is indispensable for any masculine man who doesn't want no-life Social Justice Warrior lunatics trying to destroy their lives. I'm already re-reading it and seeing how I can implement Roosh's advice. Having his family doxxed was awful, and I would've been scared shitless if I was in his shoes in Montreal. I would've probably chickened out and canceled the Toronto talk. It takes a strong man to take that kind of shit and come out on the other side stronger and willing to teach men how to avoid being in that hell themselves.

Would recommend. It's a great story told well, and you learn some solid lessons from a guy who has faced the full force of the SJW mob.

I've always enjoyed Roosh's prose, and this book was no different, even though I'm more interested in the Game side of his work than the movement to the political/cultural themes, really enjoyed the book, made me wish even more I could have come to the meetings. But reading this I really felt like I was there, you bring your reader into your world very vividly!

I laughed when you wrote that someone sent you gay porn when you asked them to verify that they were a legitimate Rvf member before coming to the meeting. Described in a typically dry Roosh way [Image: lol.gif]

The meetup crisis in Canada was described to the T and I felt like I was reading something out of Ian Fleming's Bond. Also was galvanizing to read the treatise on NeoMasculinity again in the appendix.

Really different book from Pussy Paradise or Don't Bang Latvia, but still 5 stars. Looking forward to your next work.

Also, Quintus Curtius's brain is on another level, what a scholar, definitely going to buy his book of essays after that Introduction.

Free Speech Isn't Free review thread

I started reading at about noon yesterday and finished (with a break for gym, eats, and Spanish class) and finished by about 10pm. I then called someone I trust to discuss the book and we spoke for about an hour about it.

I had low expectations about it because I thought I knew what it was about, free speech. But it's about so much more. The book left its mark on me in a big way. So big that I couldn't sleep much and was awake at 4:30am. It covers, politics, faith, lifestyle, brotherhood, where this crazy world is headed and much more.

The thing is that he is getting slammed on Amazon by 1 star reviews. I look at the 5 star ones and they are few. Roosh has helped us all in some way. If not game then lifestyle, entertainment, or most importantly bringing us together to meet in person. I can't express how meeting you guys has been. It's almost as if I have a tribe again like I did in the military. Don't take that for granted.

I know some of you guys are too individualistic to care about reading the book, and that's fine. But don't turn your back on a guy who has shown he's willing to go to jail to stand up for what he believes in, for his followers, for free speech, his friends, for us. He's done a lot for each of us even if you just like to meet other guys and party, like me. I'm sure you've met some savages here, as I have. I've had great times with each of them.

Do your part and throw a review at Amazon so those cunts don't win. They've done enough to our women, our society, our lives- don't give them an ounce of satisfaction.

This book is the fruit of what happens if you give a person like Roosh V too much media attention. He bathes in it, gets molded by it. He's the Bane of a movement that is not only misogynist but also one of the most right-wing things I've read on the internet. You can put him and his followers right next to the brown sauce flushing through Europe. You know, the swastika-guys. "Free Speech isn't Free" is about people disagreeing with him. People and media made so many mistakes in trying to silence him and his movement, that he has enough ammo to write a whole book about it. You can't kill this! Face it. You will do better laughing this off.

He's a poor man. And his followers are, too. They need to control other lives (mainly women's) to make their own matter. That's how pathetic they are.

And as a side note:
I would recommend to all fellow women to inform yourself on this movement. Read the blogs, hear them out and, most importantly, learn to recognize them! Protect yourself from them! Don't fall for their "game". Don't spread your legs for them.
Believe me I would rather rip my uterus out then give birth to the offspring of one of these men! Imagine that marriage! Your opinions don't matter, your live doesn't matter, your wishes don't matter. Just take care of children and home (and his wishes! very important!), be obedient, and hope he will not leave you or have an affair with a 20 year old as soon as your age or the marks of bearing children shows on your body. That's all that matters to them. A servant wife that is beautiful. As soon as one of those is gone (and beauty will!) YOU're gone. Or better he's gone. And don't think these guys would divorce you! Oh no no! They will treat you like trash, hurt you by betraying you until you're an emotional pulp ready to kill yourself. And then YOU file divorce to free yourself of this misery. Because then THEY can say you left them and YOU are a bad woman.

In their eyes it should be sheer impossible for a woman to get divorced. With no education and no job you could possibly do, because it should be forbidden for women to work, you would simply have nowhere to go but to stay with a man. You should not be able to survive without a man. That is their goal and this is how their mind works. They NEED a dependent woman to feel strong. In my eyes that's very weak.

Stay clear of these men, leave them in their little supreme-bubble and most importantly don't give them any additional money!

Somehow I can't believe that. How does trump combat the 1-stars? All his one star reviews seem to be pretty legitimate complaints whereas yours are simply insults on your character. Must be a violation of terms of use.

I'm sorry to go off topic for just a moment, but since she's over at Amazon telling anyone who'll listen how we all think ('cos she's an expert of course) I just want to put this thought out there.

My Grandfather married "a pretty nurse" when he was 25.
He died a few weeks ago aged 90...
...with the same slim, dedicated, loving woman by his side.
I'm not sure I speak for everybody here, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of us who would prefer if that were possible today.

Well she did put some effort in to her review, I'll give her credit for that.

"bane of a movement". Does she know what that word means? Definitely a woman writing since she can't stop her emotions coming through. What she meant to say was "His movement, and those similar to it, are the bane of my life"

""Free Speech isn't Free" is about people disagreeing with him.". Feminist detected. Disagreement with opinions is not allowed. Feminism is just an ideology and not everyone agrees with it.

The rest of that paragraph is just projection and a denial of the failure of feminism to make women happy.

I've reported all the negative ones but what other actions can we take?

You can email Jeff Bezos at [email protected].

He doesn't answer the emails obviously, but the people that do answer on his behalf are significantly more intelligent than the Indian drones that respond to customer service emails. Although they are a left-leaning organization, it's worth a shot as you are in the right here--leaving slandering reviews with no reference to the product is against Amazon's TOS.

The 1 star reviews have been reduced notoriously. As I said in my book review, Roosh is having a wild success and the book is spreading like a wildfire.

So I ended up buying a hardcopy and a kindle version as a gift. May even buy more for more gifts.

I really liked this book. Roosh's style of writing in this is incredibly honest, humbling, and and positive. Contrast with SJWs Always Lie with Vox Day. I liked that book as well, and there was humor, but you can feel the anger in the words of Vox. Not that it's a bad thing, just different. Roosh was very honest about what he was going through, from how it impacted his sleep, to how his state of mind questioned what he was doing. It also put even more light on what when down during the global meetup fiasco.

For those reasons, this was all very refreshing, even though I'm familiar with what happened as a forum member. I especially enjoyed the writings on the brotherhood among the attendees, especially with the help against the mobs.

Another important note is that verified purchase ratings have more weight in the ratings than ratings by people who are not verified. If possible, get verified before you post your rating.

My thoughts on the book:

Whiny musings on how the evil mainstream media treats Roosh blended with two-bit conspiracy theories. The self-victimization and self-aggrandizement that shine through every single line and chapter are both tedious and ridiculous. If you call yourself a revolutionary that seeks to shake up the system, then don't act surprised that the mainstream tries to silence you. Real dissidents just keep up with their work and spread ideas; they're simply too busy to complain about any supposed unjust treatment.

Roosh should have written another travel book instead. How about the Phils? I'm heading back there soon. I guess he would like their new right-wing president.
