Email I just got for job offer

Read this shit. Sounds like a good deal. 2 hours of work over the internet, ect. I dont believe it. I think I will send them back a email asking for more details.

Then they will prob be like well we need you to send X amount of money to process or start up yada yada lol

Good morning, xxxx

A large international company, Grand Art Group is expanding and looking for new employees!

We are now searching for independent agents to represent our company in different regions. 2 hours per day performing your duties online will be enough to fulfill the requirements of this position.

We want to achieve a simplified, secure, shortcut and effective way to unite art lovers and fans in the country border and all over the World Globe to implement their dreams through purchases of art pieces.

We are happy to offer you the FFC position.

Here are some of the job requirements you need:
- you must be 18 years of age or older;
- internet access, to promptly reply to emails;
- availability by phone (1-2 hours a day);

We welcome a competent and reliable approach to work, responsibility and initiative in search of the most efficient ways of work implementation.

In the beginning, you will be hired on a trial basis, for a month. We also call it “training time”, because during this period you will be guided step by step by your supervisor. If your performance is satisfactory, you will have a choice: either you can be employed part-time, or you can work full time and earn more.

Your salary during the trial is $2,300 per month, plus 8% commission from each transaction completed. Total income, with the current volume of clients, could easily amount to $4,500 per month. After the training period, your base salary will increase up to $3,000 per month, plus the 8% commission.

My job is to attract your interest. In light of the present economy, we are sure that our new opening is unique and desirable, as it offers the training, support, and a pay-scale comparable to an entry-level position that would normally require 40 hours per week. I hope you will explore, compare, and then get back to me with your questions.

If you would like to learn more, please submit any of your contact information which may have changed since submitting your resume, to the following e-mail address: [email protected].

Our human resource managers will contact you within two business days.

Regards,

xxxx

Hahaha I always love this type of mails [Image: smile.gif] - it's of course a scam. Can't believe people still actually think more than 1/1000 of a second this could be for real. Trust the famous words in this case: if it looks to good to be true, it is.

Spam email?

Or did you contact them first?

"Grand Art Group" doesn't seem to pull up much on google.

At first I was thinking it could be one of those Art pushing deals were they push prints and Giclées on unsuspecting old people and unsophisticated art buyers.

In which case the money would be justified. In fact, you probably would be getting underpaid if you perform well.

But it doesn't even seem to be that "smooth".

Ask them if it involves receiving checks from "customers", cashing them and sending the money to Nigeria by Western Union/Moneygram.

Any job offer that involves you taking money from one place and sending it somewhere else is money muling. At best you will be liable for whatever amount shuffled through your account, at worst you could see some criminal charges. If your not a US citizen you can get expelled from the country for it.

In order to steal large amounts of money out of business accounts hackers have to split it off it to chunks so it doesn't raise red flags. So you have comprised account XYZ with $250,000 in it, divide it by 5, it gets sent out to 50 money mule accounts who promptly wire it overseas and the money is never seen again.

My recommendation is that you have an email address you use only for job stuff.
