I would say the quality is about the same, but day game will be much more difficult if you don't speak any Russian. If you use tinder or okcupid the rate of English speakers is very high, if you use privet or badoo the rate is very low which is similar to what you will find in day game. Night game would be easier as it seems girls who go out speak English at a higher rate, maybe because they have money to spend and are probably more educated than random girls during the day, or maybe its just the alcohol.

Also with online game such as tinder you will get flooded with matches the first few days or week in any new city in Russia, it slows down after that but if you are not here long term that will not matter to you. Also on tinder sometimes girls are specifically looking for a foreigner
