Pro tip for super fast forum searches

If you use Google Chrome, you can search the forum quickly by using its custom search engines feature. When you're on any web site, you only need to click the address bar, type in a code of your choice like "rvf", and then perform your search.

Here's how to do it:

1. Right-click the address bar and click "Edit search engines".

2. Scroll all the way down to the blank "Add a new search engine" box.

3. Put "Roosh V Forum" in the first box. Put a short code in the second box such as "rvf" or "rf". Then put this in the third box:

Code:
Code:
http://www.google.com/cse?cx=012644550291300250250%3Abdidxiwcebe&ie=UTF-8&q=%s
Now anytime you type the code in the address bar, followed by the tab key on your keyboard, then your search query, it will search the forum and show you the results.

Can you do repeated searches without the 90 second waiting period on the forum? That's be cool to avoid.

I can't figure out how to do this for firefox. I got as far as adding RvF as a search engine using "add to search bar" add-on, but I think it uses the forum search, and I can't customize it using that google link, yet.

edit; It has the 90 sec wait limit, I'll try the google search version instead.
edit2; Adding the google version just cuts out the step of the search via google page, and ghostery blocks out the results (trackers). The results aren't really sorted by relevance, I tried 'video games' expecting that thread to be on the top of the list, but it was near the bottom.
It works, just not as well as I'd like.
