Came tops in my skydiving class actually. Highly recommended, particularly if you get a fair amount of freefall. There's nothing quite like the feeling that you tried to pull a fast one on gravity and got caught at the last minute; it felt oddly like being caught staring at a beautiful woman. You'll have a blast; enjoy the fear. It's a taste you don't get tired of.

I've done it quite a bit.

There's a rush to it, but it's not as much fun as you'd think.

Right by my house is this big skydiving place. They say it's the busiest drop zone in the world. Ambulances are out there every day. This guy just died http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/20110..._says.html.

There's a lot of girls that work out there. I also know a lot of dudes that are skydive instructor types. They usually got pretty hot girlfriends. It speaks to my theory that girls like skills.

The thing about the skydive people though, I've witnessed, is they are either heavy heavy partiers, or they're religious. I go out there and drink sometimes with a friend that runs a skydive outfit. There's no in between. Mormon girls are getting giggly after a coors light and the party types are ready for a line.

The best way to not be killed in a skydive accident is not to do it. However, you'll probably have them strap a guy to your back called a tandem master. If you can choose your person, pick the Jehovah's witness diving for Jesus as opposed to the guy that was up shooting oxy's all night.

I was supposed to go a few weeks ago but it got cancelled due to mechanical issues. I'm pretty excited to go once I reschedule, it's been on my list for some time.

I used to be really into it. I'd go every weekend and spend all of my money on it. Eventually it got too expensive and I grew tired of driving 2 hours each way to get to the drop zone. It was damn fun though.. some day I plan on getting back into it. There was nothing like the first time I jumped solo without any type of supervision.

you'll most likely see a good amount of cute girls at the drop zone. You'll also meet a lot of oddball people too..

I'd highly recommend pursuing it as a hobby. Just be careful.. it's not an activity to be taken lightly. A lot of the time I was a bit too wreckless when I was in freefall.. being wreckless is fun, but obviously a terrible idea when you're falling from 13,000 feet in the air
