U.S Military G.I bill - Anyone used it before?

Fury did your previous classes you took on TA while in the military transfer to the school in the Netherlands? I get out of the Marine Corps in about 10 months and I'm thinking of moving back to Budapest to study. Also what was the process like enrolling into a foreign school?

DMario,

I left active duty with an Associate's degree but unfortunately my university here did not accept any of the credits. However, I believe that is just the policy of the program I am pursuing. So you may just have to contact your potential universities in Budapest. I didn't know you were in the Marines, your work-travel posts made it seem like you were a civilian since you are always traveling everywhere. I joined the wrong service, the Army only sent me to Iraq and Afghanistan.

@Easy_C,

Are you post-MBA and currently working at a company? If so, I would like to hit you up offline and pick your brain on MBA prospects. If everything goes as planned, my projected MBA completion date should be late-2018 and I would be looking at potential employment. Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

I'm going to have to go on a recon trip of Europe to find out what countries I like. I'm leaning heavily towards Poland and Prague and MAYBE budapest based on the universities I researched. Alot of the schools offer full English programs. Only thing I'm trying to figure out is how good these schools are. I hope the degrees aren't worthless.

Two resources. Most schools will post placement stats you can use. Second, use LinkedIN to search for the school, go to their page, click on the alumni tab, and narrow the results down to your focus areas of interest and recent graduates. That should give you an idea for the kind of jobs they're getting.
