Sorry to go OT but the Icebreaker "Drift King" just about deserves it's own thread

Would have beaten out Kona for longest member!
Speakeasy and Cleanslate are still regular posters, and would still have you beat by years. However, Cleanslate did leave for a number of years before becoming active again.
I wish I had joined sooner as well. I first visited the forum about 2 years before I joined, but for some reason, I gravitated more to ROK than RVF at that time.
Speakeasy hasn't posted in almost 2 years. He's gone the way of G Manifesto and Christian Mcqueen.

I can't believe I hadn't noticed. Actually, I've had this happen a lot, when I read threads that started years ago, and then get revived every year or two. I'll lose track of the timeline, and see posts by older inactive members. In my mind it's as if they are posting currently. In any case, I thought speakeasy was still active.

Back then you could make a thread for the sole purpose of directly attacking a forum member - the owner of the forum no less - and not even get banned or even get the thread closed. Man, what a time.

Oh you forgot the best part, Roosh actually gave him one of his two rep points. I need to start attacking Roosh here and up my street cred.

Does anyone else has a rep point from Roosh? On the rare occasions that he's liked my posts, I've experienced a sexy time explosion. I'm not sure how I'd react if I woke up to find a rep point from him.

The original post brings up some common stereotypes, the kind society likes to use to judge you, your worth, and potential. As if you must have the things on this list to be a respectable person. Owning a house. Having a job. But if one was a world traveler, living a few months here and there, having adventures, meeting beautiful women, being gone most of the time, does owning a house in the United States make sense? Or could that money be put to better use in investments? I personally do own a house, and I'll tell you I wish I didn't, as its a pain in the ass to maintain, and try to get sold. I don't know if Roosh stays in his parents place when he's in the States, really I don't care. But it makes perfect sense for any traveler to stay with their folks when visiting the home country, as I'm sure they would be glad to see you and spend time with you when you are there.
And a full time job does not play well with the traveling lifestyle. How can one have the freedom if you are a slave to the 9-5 office? That traveling man can still have an income stream. Than man can still have investments.
Yet, house, job, boat, Harley...these are the things we are judged by.

Speakeasy is a cool dude and I speak to him occasionally off-forum, but from what I gather he has taken a break due to the shift to alt-right/alt-light politics in the past year or two. Fair enough, he's a black guy and it didn't sit right with him. But his contributions are missed.
