Valentine's Day. Its a love hate kinda thing.

So guys and gals i was wondering what you guys think of the made up holliday that is Valentine's Day. Personally i think its nothing more than a made up holliday to make people that are single feel even more single! [Image: confused.gif]

Now on the other hand if you do have a girl to spend the holliday with, i think that it is nothing more than a big waste of money. Now i think this because most of the girls i've been with around valentine's day are the kind of girls that only care about what you get them and how much it costs and weather it says Louis Vuitton, D&G, Burberry, Lacoste, or any of the other brands where the cheapest thing to get them is 200$$!

What do ya'll think??[Image: huh.gif]

Hey baby lets go get some BBQ and get busy!

I really hate Valentine's Day, with or without a date. Actually, I hate it more with a date because then I feel like I have to do something that everyone else is doing, and I hate that feeling a lot. Last Valentine's Day I took my bitch to a cheap ass Indian place that was delicious just because it was delicious and completely non-romantic, and she didn't mind at all. On the other end, on another Valentine's Day I took my then-bitch (aka Ex GF) to a restaurant and it was nice, but I felt very uncomfortable because it was all quiet and everyone was trying to be romantic, but I just don't like the idea of cliche romance, so we JET. While we're at it let's stop Christmas and Thanksgiving. I mean Christmas is supposed to be about celebrating the birth of Christ but I'm sure most of us don't give two shits about. And it's such a hassle having to buy gifts for many people for one day of the year as opposed for one person once a year... right?

You have brought up two other sketchy Holidays. First, Christmas is not the celebration of Christ's birth, but an old Roman holiday that existed prior to Jesus' time, and has survived throughout all of this time. Some hardcore Christians look down on Christmas, and I don't think you could say they don't give two shits about Jesus. Anyway, I'm not religious, so I don't really care too much about Christmas. Furthermore, I do deep down think it is dumb to buy presents for people you don't care about just because it is something you HAVE to do. I will buy presents for those that I care about and are closest to me as a meaningful gesture.

Second, Thanksgiving is different because Mommy dearest is cooking a delicious dinner that I look forward to every year. Last year I even participated in helping her cook it because I'm getting better with the kitchen craft, and I think joining in with her in creating the delicious dinner is more meaningful than getting my bitch to some cramped restaurant.

Valentine's Day is just random. If you really gave two shits as a Christian or whatever you are, you would be in Church praying for St. Valentine. Not getting your girl full in the hopes of pounding her after.

It's not anymore random than other holidays is the point I'm making. You can choose to celebrate or not that simple.

So, I'm going to be out of town for Valentine's Day. My main girl is a bit pissed, but no worries. I'll be trying to follow the old song, "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with"!

The relationship I'm in is on the rocks, we live together so she's trying her "best" to fix it however I'm just biding my time. I have bigger priorities. So I'll just cook something nice at home, maybe buy her flowers and watch a movie. I don't want to spend a lot of money on someone I doubt I'll be with by the end of the year.

Re: sex, not gonna happen. I stopped having sex with her almost 2 weeks ago, Valentine's will be no exception.

My opinion on Valentine's is that it's just a hallmark holiday, like everything that used to mean something now it does not, same goes for birthdays and Christmas- Just an excuse to get bladdered *receive * gifts. However, if you truly care about someone it's nice to do something for/with them, especially if you yourself feel good doing it.

You guys should love Valentine's Day.

If you're not dating anyone, it's a great time to pick up a single girl feeling lonely on Valentine's Day. "It just happened. It was so magical!"

If you have a harem, you should do the following (my response from the player's lounge). This is a MONEY strategy:

Gents,

I am kinda running a harem. For this Valentine's Day, my guess is it is best to spend the day alone so no girl gets the wrong hopes of becoming monogamous or serious, am I wrong?

I was starting to write something up then remembered that I've covered a lot of this before on my blog (fuck I hate that word) when I had a nice harem going. I really need to start posting on that again. Using this forum has killed my outlet there, but there's some good info:

And don't forget about the Male Valentine's Day. Steak and a Blowjob Day, March 14th.

No need to spend money, just be more creative. I printed a few of the funny/dumb/sexualized e-cards from one the Twitter Valentine's cards accounts. I leave them around the place where my girl will find them. She loves it. Her favorite was the one with a picture of a rooster that read something like "girl were u raised on a chicken farm? cuz u sure know how to raise a cock." There's a ton of funny stupid cards like that. Print them at work or whatever and it costs nothing, or just store them in your phone and text them to her.

Is this the state of Valentine's Day in the US?

An American organization I used to volunteer with just me an e-mail for Valentine's Day weekend, asking me to volunteer (including Sunday). They've never asked before.

What this organization basically does is provide drunk people with rides home at night. So apparently they're expecting a lot of drunk people on Valentine's Day weekend in the US.

I doubt most people in a healthy relationship get so drunk that they need the service.

This. The worst thing to happen to a women besides becoming crazy cat hag and hitting the wall is being alone on valentines day. A women without a date on valentines day is the same as being unwanted and every women wants to be the center of desire.

If you are on the rocks with your current Girlfriend, dump her ass and just cold approach a new one.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if a chick asks you out. It has happened before to me. Surprisingly, I was asked out by a girl that was 9/10. I was a frumpy looking nerd at the time. Why would she go down market? Because being dateless on valentines day for a women is the same as a man who is thirsty. They'll do anything to get a date, including cold approaching a man.

Made the effort last year for an involved v-day outing. It 'worked', although in the long term, there was nothing there.

That I'm too busy to care & don't have any purpose for v-day this year, doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Hell, the only thing I was looking forward to for this Feb. 13 was Deadpool.
Quite the entertaining movie I must say. [Image: banana.gif]

Not only is there no Biblical calling to celebrate the birth of Christ.
The birth of Christ shouldn't really mean anything to a Christian if they don't acknowledge & accept Christ as the Messiah.

The whole purpose of Christ was to bring the message of the Kingdom of God & access via salvation to those that believe.

Sort of like Ghandi being born & becoming a plumber instead of a political activist.
Or Mother Teresa being born & becoming a nautical engineer instead of a nun.
That which they are known for is what is important.

Plus again. By the time the three wise men bring gifts to Christ, he is already an infant in Mary's arms.
It's not as if they rocked up during her bout of labour. Christ had already been born & the wise men were only bringing gifts (as I've heard) because it was customary to bring gifts to a newly born King.
The actual birth date of Christ will probably never be known at this point.

So TL; DR, yes indeed. The more you look into the origins of various x-mas elements, the more you realize it's not really a Christian event & the problem is, so many 'churchians' don't even have the slightest clue...

Weird novelty bars are the best on Valentine's Day for some reason. You know those bars that have a reputation as a place you go around 2AM and you always see a bunch of old people there dancing.

These spots always draw in some great single talent on V day.

I actually really like Valentine's Day, unless of course I happen to be in an LTR that year. Then it fuckin blows.

Good news guys, one of my main girls just started a fight an hour ago, so that's one less worry for valentines day I guess. Didn't provoke nothing, she was looking for it. Another girl came back early from a trip though, what a coincidence, just happens to arrive right before valentines day, but ok so far it looks like it will be manageable this year.

I only see the positive, swooping lonely females, in all reality I love fucking women, I dig ones that are cool and complement my life. The others I don't give a shit about.

It can be a fun holiday.

If you're moping around on VDay because you're single.....you got a few things you can work on.

It's JUST a holiday, what you make of it, is on you.

Oh and these are my VDay cards to you [Image: gay.gif]
