Met a girl at a party started talking to her about jello shots that she brought, teasing her on how to eat them and we were hitting it off. She was smiling and laughing so I continued to tease and talk to her. After a little bit I decided it would be best to walk away. But then I remembered how I had lost girls in the past by getting to cocky and walking away so I came back rengaged. I kinoed her slowly like the book says and eventually we were sitting down. I probably should have tried to kiss her earlier but I'm learning. So we go back to my apartment: her, her friend and my two roommates and a wrestling match ensues in which I wrestle her. She came at me like a spider monkey. So i pinned her and beat her which I'm sure built some tension. We decided to go back to the party where me and her are flirting more and more but i am also trying to talk to more girls. I see a girl dancing on the wall "ask her is that fun dancing on the wall I'm sure the wall is enjoying it" She said "yea I'm just trying to dance, so i dance with her. This girl eventually disappears pretty quick so i go back to the original girl. an hour goes by since we came back and we all go back to my apartment again. This time my friend suggests I sit in the front she sits on my lap. She wasn't having it. So I thought that was a backstep she starts making us eggs and me and her are flirting endlessly she keeps trying to touch me and grab me probably another missed moment for the kiss. And tells me to get her number. Eventually it gets late they are about to leave so I'm sitting with her and go in for the kiss. I figured fuck it won't happen if I don't try. Denied. She texts me 5 minutes after she leaves saying.
"I wanted to kiss you but I could feel peoples eyes on me. I just got out of a 4 year relationship yada yada" I say, "if you were uncomfortable you should have came to my room." She said, " damn there is always next time." She lives 2 hours away next time seems a bit far fetched but its all learning experience. I'd appreciate some critique guys. Should I have moved faster and if so how should I have gone about it. Also how could i have got the dancing girl to stay longer?

I think maybe you didn't take advantage of the opportunity but like you said, you're learning. Maybe she'll show up again, maybe not. Sounds like you know where you went wrong.

I just said that because it was just another girl and another chance to learn but I'll make it more detailed next time. Yea I'm just trying to figure out what to do say to get the kiss without it being awkward.

In all seriousness, you write like you think. You need to learn to write in a manner that accurately conveys your point.

Also, I've been talking about this with a lot of people lately. Awkwardness is really just a social stigma that manifests in dating situations when the man loses confidence (in my opinion).

If you sense a lot of tension between you and a girl but you want to kiss her and think she's into it...

I've tried just going for it, I've tried waiting until I felt more comfortable. I've been rejected and gotten the bang multiple times.

I guess what I do now is just not care. If I feel like kissing a bitch, I will. If she likes it...great. If not, fuck her.
