Party Hostels
It pays to do work exchange at your favorite party hostel. I cleaned the bathrooms, but I've also got the most ass I've had in a month.

Usually its the hostel staff that clean up - they stay relatively sober and have lots of gaming practice. Plus have that 'position of power' DHV going for them.
A good way of trying to assess what the ratios will be like in a hostel is have a look at the available rooms on hostelworld. If there are lots of female only rooms its a good sign, that should help keep the ratios not too bad. If its all just "mixed dorm" you're gonna get loads of dudes.

Is there a consensus that party hostels might have worse ratios than normal back packer hostels? There are hostels that advertise themselves as non-partying vs those explicitely being for partying. I am thinking that the advantage that partying hostels have will diminish if the ratios are bad and it can end up with other possibly drunk guys cock blocking as well. What do you think?
How successful have you guys been in landing a fellow backpacker you have seen when day touring to your place who might be staying in another hostel? I am wondering if the quoted post can be used for the case of backpacker rooms instead of condos as well. A quick rundown of your game like logistics might be useful. Bring her to a local pub first or straight to my hostel? Perhaps rope her in for some dinner? Lets assume Euro back packers for now.

At most party hostels a lot of the guys get way too drunk or fucked up on drugs to even be included in the ratios. From my experience the girls are gamed so aggressively just ignore them until they come to you/open you.

Back packer gaming another backpacker through daygame. Isolation is already built in, virtually no competition. I am thinking this might be the way to go. I am guessing here but dinner followed by bringing her to some touristy place can set the stage to bringing her back to your hostel or hers.

As a side note, why are dorms/rooms in party hostels cheaper than in the normal backpacker hostels?
I've stayed in 3 on the list: Toxic (Budapest), Kabul (Barcelona) and Greg & Tom (Krakow).
Toxic: This is a proper party hostel. People getting wasted predrinking in the dorms, different activities every night, NO checkout time. But you can't bring girls back, you have to wear a stupid wristband and they check when you enter at night.
Kabul: Pretty decent, but people weren't drinking in the dorms. The bar gets lively and they have daily pub crawl but I ended up going to another pub crawl that was more fun.
Greg & Tom: Nothing party about this except they have a pub crawl. 10 AM checkout time, wtf?
If you want to bring girls back better luck staying in a small unknown hostel - those that don't even have a sign outside, just a doorbell. For example one I stayed at in Belgrade didn't have any staff at night, and often I have been the only one in my dorm.
Typically I only stay in hostels if I'm passing through a city one night, or just the first night when I arrive late. In Barcelona I stayed a week because of prices, but I won't repeat it.
Only time I banged in a hostel I went with a girl to her (small) hostel in Budapest.

Usually the dorms in party hostels are in way worse condition and inside the hostel it isn't as nice. Plus there are more issues with theft etc.
A lot of the time party hostels are partly operated by people that are getting a free room so the service isn't that great.
I think another reason is that party hostels often have attached bars/clubs so they can attract the backpackers with the cheap rates and then make the difference and more by selling them drinks and food.
Yeah, they mako good money on drinks, pub crawls and commission on various tickets. And facilities are often crap. Many of the "party" hostels don't allow alcohol not bought at the hostel, and the bars are usually not super cheap.
Btw forgot to add they are usually sausage fests. Especially Toxic. Maybe a bit better in summer, I was there in April.
When I stayed at Greg & Tom there was an Aussie pig who sat on a chair in the room and took a good long piss at night after getting drunk at a pub crawl. She thought it was the toilet.
Luckily her bf was there to clean it up.

Yep, age isn't really an issue.
As much hate as party hostels are getting on here because of the ratios it ain't really a problem. Sure, before the alcohol starts flowing they're getting way too much attention but after a while half the dudes are going to be so fucked up they'll be slurring their words plus if they're on short trips like a month then they're most likely going to get jiggy in these kind of environments.
The vibe of party hostels can vary immensely though, some are just a bunch of rooms packed together with a nightclub downstairs. These ones are shit and must be avoided at all costs.
Here's my feedback from that list:
Flying pig- Not a particularly great place to get laid, but a fun hostel for sure.
Rockin' J's- Awesome place. Had an end of the world party when I was there back in 2013. Let's just say it was rough white water rafting the next day. Definitely a good place to pull, and still in touch with the group I met there.
Pink Palace- It's off this year. Was legendary at one time, but hopefully ownership will change this offseason and it will come back strong. I've spent 21 days there single and had 19 lays. Even if it's off, almost every girl that goes there will put out there, that's the nature of the Pink Palace beast. Rising Cock- Great place to get laid. Would have gone 3/3 but I had a bus to catch so I couldn't finish off my booze cruise pick up. Again, go for the early kill, if not, enjoy the shower haha.

I've come to love hostels. Such a great time. I've stayed at some shitty ones, but most are pretty spectacular.

Macondo in San Gil, Colombia - Cool Ozzie owner with a jacuzzi area for hanging out. Hot girls.
Kolibri in Pereira, Colombia - Great back deck with a nice view. Met a lot of cool people here.
Luciernaga in Salento, Colombia - The fanciest hotel-like hostel for $9 a night. Very upscale for a hostel. Super views. American owner.
Budda in Villa de Leyva, Colombia - Goddamn GREAT views. Firepit every night and sweet, large old house on the mountain. Fun owners that like to party.

Are party hostels strict about bringing outsiders in?
I have been reading backpacker reviews and a lot of girls are put off by the lack of hygene in these places. I can't see too many girls willing to put up with these places let alone put out.
Have any of you pulled a tourist from daygame as a tourist? The sequence of events for such daygame might be useful.
I just google searched images of some of the places the6ix mentioned. There are a lot of Beta dudes (good I guess) and the girls look like anglo 4s-6s. Why the f**# would I travel halfway around the world to bang 4s-6s?

A bed in a dorm is no more than 10 or 15 bucks in most countries anyways, I can barely buy a beer for that kind of money where I live now.
Like this you access the party and get a social group to hit the bars, but when you meet a local you have your apartment. Doesn't work for hostel girls though, would be doing this only to start the night with a social circle.
I don't mind going out solo in a foreign city, but sometimes just feel like predrinking with someone on my first day.
