My goals/objectives for 2016

I'll be using this thread to keep track of my goals and add weekly updates, along with a monthly review of all my original goals. You are welcome to post if you'd like to. I also hope that doing a thread like this with constant updates will keep me more motivated to actually do it.

The objectives aren't purely game/lifestyle, there are some education and lifting based things in there too.

So, in no particular order:
  • Smash a virgin- This is here for obvious reasons, it's something I'd like to try. I already have a chick lined up for this, so this may be the first goal accomplished.
  • Track expenses/income- Review my bank account set up and split in to savings/current account. For tracking expenses and income, use a good old-fashioned hardback log book.
  • Read 1 book per month- I used to be a big reader, but that's dropped off with more work/studying. The books can be fiction/non-fiction and should be 400-700 pages long.
  • Do 17 hours of studying per week- I want to absolutely smash my exams, so I will do 17 hours of additional studying a week, obviously increasing closer to exams.
  • Carry on improving my French- I already speak decent French, however I'd like to keep improving to a very good standard.
  • Travel to France solo- This ties in to the above point. This trip would be mainly for language purposes so I won't actively be chasing pussy, but if it comes my way I won't hold back. This will probably be in July or August.
  • Starting in Mid-June, start Arabic- I did a tiny bit of Arabic last year but it got brushed under the carpet quickly as I was busy with other things (poor excuse I know). So after exams I will restart the book/CD program that I used before (Egyptian Arabic dialect.
  • Keep at <13BF% and lean bulk- I don't mind slow progress, so I'm just switching between a 4 day P/P/L (doing 2 of 1 split per week in rotation) and a 4 day bro split. I don't have any quantitative goals for lifting, but I know how I want to look. Simply put, I want to add size everywhere whilst keeping abs, and specifically add more mass to delts, back and lower chest.
  • Do corrective exercises for shoulder blade- My shoulder blades (mainly the right one) slightly ache sometimes and protrude a little more than I'd like them to, so I'll do some corrective exercises. I will also do exercises for any other body parts that are in any way wrong.
  • Invest in to some index funds- Just dipping my toe in the water here, but it' a good opportunity to learn more about the financial markets and to make a small bit of extra cash.
  • Socialising- As well as keeping up with friends, just speak to everyone. Men, women, children, I will just try and interact more with other people.
  • No Fap- this will be quite hard (lol), but that acts as motivation to get more pussy. My aim is to not fap at all, unless I am getting consistent wet dreams in which case I'll limit myself to a wank every 2 months.

Why are you switching between PPL/bro split? Any other guidelines for your "lean bulk?" I'm about to start the same and will be pretty much be eating more carbs and training for strength.

UPDATE:
  • Smash a virgin- Getting pretty close to this one. Just need to arrange a time and date and we're good[Image: banana.gif]
  • Track expenses/income- Haven't got round to doing this yet. Will look in to what I need to get tomorrow, then buy it at the weekend and organise my accounts over the next fortnight.
  • Read 1 book per month- This may have to be upped to 2 books a month, as I've already read 1 book, 'The Yard' by Alex Grecian. Any suggestions would be welcome.
  • Do 17 hours of studying per week- I am on track for this at the moment. Having a plan definitely helps to keep me motivated.
  • Carry on improving my French- Just learning more vocab and grammar.
  • Travel to France solo- N/A
  • Starting in Mid-June, start Arabic- N/A
  • Keep at <13BF% and lean bulk- Done 4 good workouts, feeling good at the moment.
  • Do corrective exercises for shoulder blade- Haven't started this yet, I will look in to it at the weekend.
  • Invest in to some index funds- Again not done yet, so look in to it at the weekend.
  • Socialising- I think that I made a conscious effort to go out of my way to have conversations with people.

Because I get bored too quickly. However I'll probably split to a bro split for at least the next month.

UPDATE:
  • Smash a virgin- Set up a date for next month (doesn't live very close)
  • Track expenses/income- Managed to sort my money in to 2 different accounts (savings/current), and keep so money free too.
  • Read 1 book per month- Haven't got round to a second one yet, however doing this has just reminded me to. Not sure what I'll be reading yet though.
  • Do 17 hours of studying per week- Done pretty well at this, except for monday and friday, where I did slightly less than planned.
  • Carry on improving my French- Just learning more vocab and grammar.
  • Travel to France solo- N/A
  • Starting in Mid-June, start Arabic- N/A
  • Keep at <13BF% and lean bulk- Dropped to 3 workouts this week, but still pleased. Went to see the doctor for a blood pressure test and he made a compliment implying that my arms were very lean and muscly (no homo).
  • Do corrective exercises for shoulder blade- Starting this tonight.
  • Invest in to some index funds- I think this will have to be put on hold for a while, the stock market has been falling a lot recently and isn't showing many signs of a recovery.
  • Socialising- This has been hard this week as I've been very busy.
  • No Fap- Staying strong so far[Image: tard.gif] In week 3 now, had a few urges.

  • Smash a virgin- She's gone no contact, damn it. Obviously therefore I'm also ignoring her, I'll start looking for another chick.
  • Track expenses/income- No update yet, but managed to make a nice little but of side money this week.
  • Read 1 book per month- Going to try and read 1 book this week so that I will have done 2 overall this month.
  • Do 17 hours of studying per week- I did a lot during the week due to a few tests, which I've done really well in. I'm allowing myself a few very relaxed study days as a reward, but will start the grind again on Monday.
  • Carry on improving my French- Just learning more vocab and grammar.
  • Travel to France solo- N/A
  • Starting in Mid-June, start Arabic- N/A
  • Keep at <13BF% and lean bulk- Only done 1 workout this week, mainly due to extra studying I've had to do.
  • Do corrective exercises for shoulder blade- N/A
  • Invest in to some index funds- Still on hold due to market volatility.
  • Socialising- Have had quite a few interesting chats with some really knowledgeable older men. Also just improving my general chat and flirting.
  • No Fap- I've run in to the issue of wet dreams as a cause of abstinence from masturbation, so I'm looking at either doing a 3 week or 2 week no fap cycle, to keep me aggressive and hungry, yet not with the consequence of wet dreams.
