What's up with all the guys coming to Asia in search of white girls?! Seems to be a trend on here lately.

In all fairness it's quite possible to get up and have breakfast in Phuket and be in Bangkok for lunch and dinner and be back in bed in Phuket by evening.
Or vice versa. Or whatever.

I don't know. I had a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Seoul to Japan recently. It took me eight hours in total, with getting to the airport and getting back from the airport and the wait. I'm not sure how easy the flying thing is in Thailand, but I don't see the harm in just spending seven days in one place.

I spent NYE in Phuket last year.
I had a hotel up in the hills on the north of the bay, was with a beautiful Russian.
We had a huge night out on the town, and made it back to our hotel half hour before midnight.
Sitting in the spa with her, looking out over the bay, with a million lanterns floating up, and the fireworks and music was just an incredible experience.

Was on phi phi last NYE. Lots of tourists on the beach (party), if you want european white hoes and sausagefests you are in the place.

The quality during the day is higher, but I never saw a young land whale. All women were in the fit to chubby range.

I'm planning my new year's eve in Thailand or Vietnam. I mean, I bought my tickets to BKK already, will stay for 4 weeks, but still not sure where to go.
Is Saigon a good spot for the new year's eve? Or it's better to go to the islands (Phi Phi/Phuket)
I was thinking about Samui/Koh Phangan but seems that is the worst place during this part of the year because the high count of drunk ppl from EU.

Is the consensus among Thailand vets that the islands are just a clusterfuck of tourists and backpackers for NYE? I'm thinking of going to BKK over Christmas but not sure about staying for NYE. Is BKK fun the week between Christmas and NYEs?
I've been to a number of Thai islands, and had fun, but I'm not sure I'd like that scene any longer. Can anyone recommend more chilled out beaches that aren't overrun during the holidays?

I spent new years in bangkok 2 years ago, all I can say that it was amazing. I had a a few friends and cousins show me around and I got extremely drunk but it was so much fun. I'd happily recommend it.

Guys headed for Thailand at NYE, do bear in mind the current ISIS threat to Russian targets in Thailand. Phuket could be one of the places targeted for Xmas or NYE so take care. It may be a small chance but thought I'd put that out there.
