Texting in a Foreign Country, e.g. Peru
06-25-2011, 04:23 AM
This isn't about text game but pure logistics. I'm on an international plan for AT&T. It seems that I need to enter the international code (011) and the country code for texts to go through. I suspect girls need to do something similar to text me back. Any ideas as to how this works? I've been getting numbers but no girl has texted me back. It could be that these # closes have been insufficiently solid, but I want all my bases covered.
PS, I'm in Lima now and will be going to Cusco on Tuesday, if anyone wants to meet up.

It's been a long time since I was in Peru, but if works like other countries, then it should be easy for them to reply. Your full international number should be included with your msg in their phone. All then need to do is hit reply.
If they are not replying it's probably because it's too expensive for them to text an international number.
There's a chance one of them did reply, but the message was lost in transit. For various international phones I've used, I would randomly lose text msgs here and there.
You need to pickup a local prepaid sim card. This will make it cheap for them to reply and mean messages getting through will be more reliable.

Local SIM cards are so cheap they may as well be free.
Buy one.

Yeah shit I've been so caught up with me trying to send out texts I didn't even realize that it'll cost girls to text me back. Hopefully some girls will not know whats going and text me back anyway, only to get hit with surcharges later.
mr.minibar, it's definitely fun here but possibly overhyped. I'm 0/2 at Gotica, Roosh's favorite place. I was with some tall good-looking gringos the first time and they didn't pull either. We could get girls interested but they wouldn't isolate themselves for escalation, hence why I'm suck with numbers. Almost shored a semipro my first night here at Calle de las Pizzas, was at her apt but couldn't get it up and she refused to blow me. Took me awhile before even getting to that point. I told her I wasn't paying her for anything once we got back to her apt. Had to freeze her out to get past LMR, we were at her street corner waiting for a cab when she got doe-eyed and pleaded me to come back up. But then like I said, couldn't get hard and she didn't want to suck me off.
My writings choppy, as I'm writing on my iPhone.

One thing that being in South America has taught me is to give up on that pussy habit of texting girls, just call them, there is nothing more to it.

I'm going there in two weeks. i let you guys know what my experiences are. Currently i'm in La Paz in Bolivia and it took me 5 whole dates to get laid with a Local girl. They are not responding well to game. Maybe because there's an abundance of young backers here. Most at least 10 years youinger than me.
Well , at least i got my flag
