You've got info on that? From what I know he hasn't met anyone in real life?

I only met one member here so far, but plan to meet more, so that more people can call me a dirtbag [Image: smile.gif]

El Mech is chillin in the office at his auto shop surrounded by Greek grease monkies and multiple guns, not fearing a doxxing, nor giving a flying fuck.

Whether he was for real or not, he was always witty and entertaining and spot on about a lot of things. So that's the value I got from him. I don't really care if he was real, dude made me laugh many times regardless.

My response a year and a half ago on the last G thread. Shit's like clockwork.

Following up on what WWT said, it's not about running a background check on the guy.

Did he give advice that was advantageous to a good amount of members? Yes.

Is his alleged lifestyle a possible goal for a good amount of members? Yes.

Did he add value to the forum? Yes.

Based on these three questions, G has made a positive impact on the forum regardless of if he is 100% truthful about his complete lifestyle.

I know I have taken life advice from his posts, and my life is better because of it. Just like Santa Claus, whether he is real or not, he has a positive impact on the lives of others.

Guess I'll have to go back to my native Zanesville to day game at the local indoor mall and hit the Applebee's happy hour.

Yea but this is not a comedians only forum. I found Dash very entertaining too but he was banned for NOT being real. So why does G get a pass for the same thing?

What if I were a 19 year old blonde chick from Idaho gassing that I'm some UK chap from Nigeria? Would I get the same pass although some find me funny and entertaining?

I'm not hating on G, power to all who continue to better their lives and those of others around them but I'm just curious to what sets G aside from Dash Global etc.

This is the kind of thing that I don't find far fetched, you should see Dash over on NN giving advice about Medellin and how he'd bang 2-3 girls a week yet has never stepped foot in the city.

These guys are not from California!

They moved here later in their adult life!

Well, with "G", we have no idea where he is from..

I have no problem with people criticizing California and criticizing the people of California but the reality is.. Those guys are not from California!

Just sayin.. We have enough of our own weirdos, sjws, and liberal idiots!

(by the way, I have no issue with any of those guys)

G was popular because crime is red pill.

Doing whatever the fuck you want is red pill.

Being a slave to society is blue pill.

That's why G's attitude resonated with many men.

He preached masculine freedom.

I think his LA data-sheets were pretty spot-on.

I have met most of those people who are lambasted here (sans G) and they are all different than their internet persona.

All the cats I met from here were EXACTLY who they are on the forum. Great chaps. It's easy to get an 'LA data-sheet' spot on. The internet is wide open.

Just different. Its easy to stereotype based on internet writing.

Meeting people you see the more human side, get a sense of their vulnerabilities and their weak spots which are glossed over online.

@Moma- I would say quite the opposite. Its very difficult to get an accurate LA data-sheet especially in Hollywood. Things change so fast. The faces in charge stay the same but the spots constantly rotate depending on the night.

Restaurants wax and wane in popularity. Girls follow promoters based on club nights, which ties into restaurants which ties into other issues.

Right now the "scene" is moving more and more toward restaurants especially WeHO lounge/restaurant style. I don't see many people talking about that in the LA threads.

How about the ethnic nights or music-centered spots? Salsa spots... Asian nights.... EDM funk crowd.... old school hip-hop clubs... live jazz nights. Never seen anybody drop data like that. i had to find it all myself or through my extended circle of people.

The internet might be "wide open" but 99% of it is fluff.

I remember LA thread somebody chimed in about how great Mr. Fish was. I thought it sucked. The layout was terrible w/3 flights of stairs, table layout making it hard to hunt, weird live alternative music and funky looking people. The smoking area was near the entrance which is a POS.

The flip is how everybody hates on Katsuya when it is one of my favorite places in Hwood to drink. The hottest girls roll through there to eat. Its a post-chop heaven for the outside smoking area.

True data comes from pounding the pavement and working your contacts

Taste in music: G, along with Tuthmosis probably has the best taste in music on here in my opinion, he would always post Youtube videos of old school 90s hip hop and rap I haven't heard in years

The only thing I'm disliking about this thread is that nobody saw to it that we kepts it mad real with the soundtrack:

I tend to take things written by high post members from areas where lots of RVF guys live but haven't met any with a grain of salt, why wouldn't they meet up for a quick drink? I've met a ton of guys on here and I think that the way I act is basically in line with how I post on here. If you create an online persona where you lead others to believe that you're an elite level player, wealthy, etc then they'll expect you to act like that when you meet. The last thing I want to do when meeting someone new is to be under pressure live up to some kind of hype, I just want to have a few drinks and shoot the shit with a like minded fella.

Lots of the guys I've met have been super cool, Moma was nice enough to let me crash at his place a couple of times (I may have to ask you again soon!) and I've been to El Mech's place, met his kid and he's met my parents. I've also met low post non-repped newbies who turned out to be great guys, probably the best example of that was when I met Linux last year, I think I may have been the first RVF guy he met. Just keep it real and everything will be fine.

There's like 20 Colombian restaurants on north Armenia in Tampa they've been popping up all over.

There's a bar there called the manosphere I want to check out I hear it's hot.

Does the bar in Tampa called the manosphere have the same ownership as the bars in Zanesville and Scranton with the same name?

I've met about 65 forum members by now (thread-11992...pid1121104 - need to add a few). In fact, I hung out with a couple chaps at the French Embassy last night, part work part pleasure.

Offer is open to anyone else as well. I hail from DC, if that weren't obvious enough. The more the merrier.

Also I am overdue for a trip to Tampa, be there when I'm not busy wrestling alligators.
